A great hostel, only 5 min away from the bus station, located in a quiet place, with a very friendly and helpful staff in a beautiful country... If you are lucky, you could even listen to the staff playing the guitar ! :) Definitely the hostel to go in Budva !

The owner, Nikola, was excellent. He gave you lots of good ideas on things to do and I really appreciated the history lesson he gave me on Montenegro. The hostel is very relaxed and has a wonderful balcony that you can enjoy.

One of my favorite hostels I've stayed at. The owner was extremely helpful, friendly and eager to share his knowledge and culture with you. I wish Freedom Hostel the best of luck next month when they expand to the first floor.

Only 2 blocks from the bus station and short walk to beach and old town.

I very much recommend Freedom Hostel and if I visit Budva again I will certainly stay here. Nikola was great in making sure my stay here was as enjoyable as possible. He really makes sure you feel at home and is more than happy to give as much advice about Montenegro as you could possibly need. There is a nice terrace area to relax in and the common room is a great space to meet other travellers.

The best hostel I have ever visited! The reason is that Nikola - owner and manager of it - is very interested in his job and trying to do all his best. He was tourist guide before and knows everything about the place. His friendliness and helpfulness overweight all possible downsides of the place, if you'll manage to find those :). The hostel is very clean, and it has excellent friendly atmosphere.

If you need a place to stay and if you are looking for having some nice time in Budva you are gonna love this place!! I spent a really good time there. Friendly people and clean rooms and toilet. It's close to the bus station and staff is really helpful !! And if you are missing your guitar, that 'll be hard for you leaving the living room!!

Loved our stay at Freedom Hostel. As the name suggested it is quite relaxed. Thank you to Nikola for all his hospitality and jokes! As a last minute destination we didn't know much about Montenegro but Nikola put our minds at ease and gave us all the information we needed to know. We enjoyed our stay so much that we stayed another night. Its conveniently located within walking distance to town and bus stop and great for a day trip to Sveti Stefan. Cant recommend enough.

I liked everything very much. The location of the hostel is excellent if you are coming from any direction. Also, the cleanliness and the arrangement of the rooms are on a very high level, which personally I find very important when you travel around and need a good night of sleep. Finally, its friendly staff, domestic atmosphere and a lovely insight into the tradition of this beautiful country are definitely the best features of this hostel :) I will definitely come back. Thumbs-up! ;)

Freedom is one the best hostels I've ever stayed! Was supposed to be here for 2 nights, stayed nearly a week. The owner Nikola, a former Montenegrin tour guide knows what travelers are looking for and he really gives the hostel his personal touch and soul. The hostel's public space is perfect to meet people, but with the living room, the terrace, and the garden, there's always a place to get away for some alone time. Highly suggest this place :)

It was perfect and we didn't expect a such a warm welcome. This hostel is diferent, the atmosphere is special! No stress with the time, a nice breakfast, and the staff is amazing. You will want to stay more! The location of the hostel is very usefull, all that you can need is close. This is the best to enjoy a stay in Budva, you will love it!! Thank you again for all Nikola!

when I arrived in Budva I ha no reservations for a hostel so I basically went to the nearest place with wifi and looked up to see what was around. I emailed this hostel and another one, within minutes Nikola told me he would meet me at the bust stop and take me to the hostel. such a nice guy...owners definitely define the hostel, and Nikola is perfect. Passionate about meeting travelers and ensuring they have a good time but not being too in your face. Loved Freedom , highly recommend the place

J love the place!!! Exelent spot of hostel almost near everithing you need. Beautifull garden with lot of plants. Very good host Nikola at your service all the time!!! J will definitely come back!!!
