Great hostel and staff

100%

Excellent value money and great staff. Hospitality was good. Though it's in a small neighborhood, walking distance to bus station and shopping/dining areas. A little bit far (walking distance) from the cost and beaches but Budva is easy to get around.

just a few minutes from the beach, super market and cheap restaurants near by, very friendly staff, lovely toasted hame and cheese sandwiches ;)

Loved this place. Grapes on vine and figs on tree to help yourselves to. Decent size. Lockers and towels supplied. Cheese and ham toasties for breakie. Great location minutes from everything. I got the bus from mostar via dubrovnik (stayed on same bus) and was great, amazing scenery (needed €1 per bag in hold). Then got Tito's Blue Train to belgrade - highly recommend for experience, scenery and value.

Awesome common room with a lot of guitars, TV and an awesome beer fridge. Great kitchen and plenty of toilets. The staff are fantastic so friendly and often joined in on the evenings drinking by offering rakija. Location is great just a short walk away from the main beach strip of Budva where all the action happens. Close to bus station and supermarket.

Excellent, quiet location, close to everything you need and wish. Very friendly staff. Just one remark, some anti-mosquito curtain would be appreciated, so the windows can stay open at night and the tiger-mosquitos outside. In general, praise to this hostel and the management.

I have only good things to say about freedom hostel - primarily due to the two extremely friendly and ever helpful staff who were on reception from morning till late in the evening. They, and a nice welcoming common room and balcony helped create a really nice relaxed atmosphere where it was really easy to meet others etc. Def best hostel I stayed at in Montenegro...

Well located, very friendly staff, clean. Good wifi. A couple of criticisms might be that the bathroom should have some sort of bath mat, and that the sound from the common area carries into the rooms a little too much. Curtains on beds are good, though it's a little strange that they don't actually cover the whole opening.

Really friendly little place with good kitchen, common area and terrace. Only downside for me was that the bunk bed steps were so narrow that they were painful, and there was no veggie breakfast option (the bread used for breakfast contains lard).

Freedom Hostel was an awesome place to stay. It's so close to the bus station, and a short walk to the beach and Old Town. The staff were so helpful and nice. I would highly recommend Freedom Hostel!

We stayed just for one night, but enjoyed the atmosphere of the hostel and friendliness of staff. Great to meet other travellers, close to the bus station, but a short walk from the old town.

Only stayed for one night, but found the hostel ticked all the boxes and the staff were fantastic in sorting a room out for us when we arrived at 7am. We did struggle to find the place initially, and maybe a sign-post or two could be put up. It is only 5 mins walk from the bus station though, and about as far from the beach, so a great location once you find it!

Very relaxed place with attentive, hospitable, and open-minded staff. It's a bit hard to find at first, but the location is actually really convenient and close to the beaches. I had a great time here!

Dobar dan! This is a fabulous hostel where one can find the true spirit of hosteling. Within minutes I had meet new people and realized how Freedom Hostel really lives up to it's amazing reputation. The staff (Nikola, Dasha and Ranko) are so incredibly friendly, that you will feel part of the Freedom family before you can say "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious". You will love the jam sessions and the fab atmosphere! Many thanks for such an awesome week! Dovidenja! Amagi
