Great staff, great location, and a great ambiance. These guys are really great at creating a group atmosphere regardless of whether you're travelling alone or with others. Only advice would be to put up more signs directing people as to how to reach the hostel as it is rather hard to find! Thanks a lot guys

I had four great days and nights at the Montenegro Freedom Hostel in Budva. Friendly personal, good location and a very social atmosphere with everyone talking to eachother, and yes we had a good room to sleep in :-) Visit the place t when you are able to

We only stayed for one night, but we really wish our time in Budva and at freedom hostel had been longer! The man who ran the hostel is great, and the atmosphere is very nice. Though we were the only two people in our dorm room meant for six, we really liked that there were curtains on each bed, and individual lights. Hope to make it back here one day!

Nikola is the best host - free breakfast, beer, vodka, jokes, etc. :) The hostel is very close to the bus station, which is ideal for day trips to Kotor, Cetinje, or Podgorice. The place is clean and the beds were very comfy - every bed has its own roll-down privacy screen/sheet/thing, which I found very nice. Definitely deserves another visit!

I enjoyed my 2 nights here. Nikola, the owner is a nice person, very friendly and helpful. The hostel is good, in a quiet residential area, 10 mins walk to the beach area. There is a supermarket and bakery and taxis at the end of the road. Thew were some American and Australian backpackers when I was here, who were hoping it would be a massive party place, luckily, it didn't turn out that way....and I was glad. Noise and drinking in the lounge until nearly 1.30am....but the door was kept shut.

This hostel is on the first floor of a family home (also the ground floor in season) just a short walk to the bus station and beach. The social spaces in this hostel are large with an outside terrace area. The owner is super friendly and helpful and encourages a social but respectful environment, where guests can party (if they want) but ensures the neighbors are not kept awake. There is a lack of bathrooms out of season, after the 1st June there are extra downstairs.

Had a great time! The atmosphere makes you feel at ease. Good chill out music in the living room with a major balcony for everybody makes it an interesting place to meet other travelers. The staff is very present, helpful and generous. Highly recommended!

This is a excellent choice for a stay in Budva. The location is great, only a 2 minute walk from the bus station for an easy arrival/departure, and the hostel is in a good neighborhood, I felt very safe. And everything you need is within easy walking distance, 10 minutes or less. The common areas are really cool and comfortable, too! Nikola is super nice and accommodating, he really makes sure that you feel at home! I highly recommend this place!
