The hostel was overbooked when I arrived there, even though I had paid deposit - and my reception was very unhospitable and unpolite. Did not get my deposit back (not that it was much, but as a matter of principle), I was adviced to a horrible place next to it. Worst experience ever! Seems like the staff has no control over their bookings, as I talked to others staying there too whom did not have beds for the entire staying as requested. A perfectly fine place to stay which satisfies all of a backpacker travelers needs. I' d stay there again without hesitation. Very pleasant cool nights there in the highlands - sleeping was easy. The receptionist wasn't very helpful. Of course there were issues with our reservation as well, which mysteriously got switched from 3 people for the first night to 2 people for the second night.
