We really enjoyed our very first stay in Barcelona at Montjuic guesthouse. Jordi, the manager, gave us a very comprehensive presentation over Barcelona on the day of arrival. Our room very neat. There was a tv and a safety box for valuables. A huge window looked over to the terrace where there was a an own table for us. The kitchen was well-equipped, the bathroom was clean and spacious. The place was very conveniently located near Poble Sec metro station.

My wife and I absolutely loved our stay. The hostel was very clean, it was great to have a shared kitchen and the shared terrace was beautiful and very nice to have dinner or a drink on. The hostel's manager was very helpful with everything we needed and gave a very thorough tour of the hostel, provided us with maps of the city, told us where to go and where and where not to go. We loved everything about our hostel we will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Barcelona!

Fantastic stay, location was perfect - quiet and safe area but only a short walk from la rambla. House was excellent, kitchen was great, room lovely- comfy beds and good shower, would have loved to use the patio on a warm day. Jordi gave us more information than we would have got even from the tourist office, so we saw as much of Barcelona in the short time we had. We will definitely be back :)

The house was well located (near Montjuic at 10 minutes from the underground). The manager give a lot of explanations to find the house and a touristic map of Barcelona. It was clean and calm (except a lot of noisy dogs in the quarter between 8pm and 10pm). The only defect was a tap water in the bathroom which does not work correctly but it was OK for some days.

As a couple the location close to the olympic city, was perfect. Nice and calm, and only a 15 minute walk to La Rambla. Very thorough introducting to the place and the city from Jordi, the house manager. The internet broke down one day, but was repaired within the hour. We could definitely stay there again.

Jordi was amazing, he was at the hostel awaiting our arrival as agreed. Prior to arriving he gave us lots of information and again on arrival of what/where to go.... Couple of negative things, when booking it said private bathroom which it was, but not inside the room, this should be highlighted. Also the doors of the room that led to the communal patio couldn't be locked, shutter had to be put down which meant I didn't feel that confident leaving the room.
