Great location, right next to the bus station, the staffs are very friendly. However, the rooms are very crowded (8 bed dorm) and dim

This place is close to a hotel rather than a hostel. It's 2minutes from the central train station, bus stop and the staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms are very clean with a fridge, microwave, tv, lockers and hanging space. There's a bar at the entrance to the hostel and a courtyard where everyone hangs out which really adds to the friendly atmosphere. Definitely recommend this hostel to everyone.

Was a bit disappointed in the lack of knowledge the staff seemed to have about the city and places to go and things to do.

You could not get better staff then this place has. Energetic, smart and friendly. They helped with anything I asked about. My room was spotless. I have never had a cleaner room in my life.

Excellent value in a great location beside the central bus station and the Berri-UQAM metro station. Nice that they provide breakfast, drinks and towels. The staff were friendly and helpful. The common room is a bit cramped and overheated (and I could have done without the constant girl-band disco music) but I would nevertheless recommend this hostel highly as a comfortable cheap and convenient place to stay in Montreal for people of all ages.

Best hostel we have stayed at. Met great people, amazing atmosphere and all the staff are kind and friendly not to mention an awesome breakfast!! The rooms are cleaned daily and the cleaners are in and around all day. Fresh towels everyday and the hostel sets up great activities including live bands and a free evening meal once a week! Free tea and coffee all day! All in all a fantastic stay!

What does a single room in which the bog is right next to the bed remind you of? Exactly. Only a prison cell doesn't cost you 74 Dollars per night, does it? Add to this in your mind a tiny window you can't open, aircon that ventilates upstairs' (oh yeah, this room is in the cellar, and it's not the only one) kitchen smells into your nose, a shower cubicle that leaks water into the room, horrid interior decoration… and decide for yourself if you want to go there.

this is my second stay at this hostel, indeed it is awesome: close to metro/greyhound station, individual bathroom in each room/dorm, towel change everyday, the best part is the bar (common room), where you can get cheap beer(2/$4) and meet people!! strongly recommend

More than the usual things you look out for, this hostel has a subtlety of design that encourages meeting people and making friends. For a social experience (And Montreal is best experienced as a wandering, tipsy crossdressing group of #nouveaux amis'), this place can't be beat. Highly recommended. In addition, the location is absolutely perfect. No, really. Perfect.

This hostel was the best on my north america trip. people were nice and the rooms were good and the showers were clean. Also the breackfast was the best, it is similar to european breackfasts. i enjoyed it very well.

The best hostel i have ever stayed. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's only 15 minutes walking everywhere and one block to the latin quarter so forget the metro! All the days the rooms are clenead and every night there is a different activitie in the common room (the live music night is perfect!) so you will definetely enjoy your stay. If i come back to Montreal for sure i will stay again in Montreal Central. ¡Gracias Simon and the crew! ¡Arriba Arriba! ;)
