Its a party Hostel for Full Moon Party, you'll meet many people during your stay there. For this purpose I really can recommend it, but not for longer stays (18 bed dorm room). You got a free lightstick and a "survival advisor" for the Full Moon party, its quite clean and in the night and morning its quiet. A/C works, boiler in the shower was broken.
This was definitely an experience. 10 bunks lined up beside eachother with 2 bathrooms, which meant it got pretty cramped. Met loads of people, but during the fool moon party there's a great atmosphere everywhere. 24hr security is just a camera which is manned by anyone. Great experience in all though.
Great valued hostel to spend the full moon party. Original decoration. Great air con, and plugs in each bed make a difference. The owner was very friendly and provides all the help required. It lacks a common area, however it has a bar in the first floor where is possible to meet all the people as they get to the hostel.
Theoretically anyone could walk into the dorm in the night. There is a guy from the hostel, but he was asleep most of the time when I came home late. It's perfectly located near the Full Moon Beach but far enough away to not hear the noise. Great staff that was very helpful. But the burmese staff do not really speak english. The dorm has it's own sound system installed. Music can be played via an AUX cable. The floor got very dirty/sandy during my stay and the showers were cold.
I had a great time in this hostel and I extended my stay 3 nights. Every comfort is there and the staff is friendly. Very good Shisha.
