Simply a perfect stay. The dorm is in the center and really clean. The staff is very friendly and the boss really helpfull and nice. The Pink bar downstairs offers cheap and tasty cocktails. =) I recommand this place to everybody.

The air co didn't work properly at all... So it was constantly sweltering in the room. The shower pressure didn't work until the last 2 days, and even then the temperature was unpredictable!

I'm staying in the Moonstone Hostel, an it gets a 1.5/5. It's location is great, a few minutes from Haad Rin beach and I loved that the hostel supplied shampoo and soap. Everything else was pretty bad; air-con was out of commission so the place was permanently sweltering (they gave us a free bucket each to say sorry). It was too expensive also, the place smelled and the decor was, in a word, interesting...

First of all after we left the hostel in the boat we realized that they stole 2000baht from the wallet of my friend, almost half of the money which were there. Secondly for some long time there was nooo air con so the veryyy small room where 20people were supposed to breath became unberable. The toilets although they tried to clean them they were still disgusting. Totally Not recommended!!!

Great place to stay if you are in Koh Phangan for the full moon party due to its location and friendly atmosphere. However, the facilities aren't that nice and the beds are really close together. So if you're looking for rest, this is probably not the place for you.

Awesome location for the full moon party, staff and owner were super friendly. Being a 20 bed dorm, you certainly get to know a lot of other travellers. Would definitely stay here again for the price

This hostel was my first 20 bed hostel. I stayed there 3 nights during the half moon festival and it was the perfect atmosphere. They pumped the music up when everyone got ready. It was like one big hostel family. The owner let me use his cell phone to get in contact with other people we had met. Very nice staff. One of the showers didn't close right but no one really cared. It's a party hostel not a 5 star resort. Would stay here again during full moon. It's a great way to meet people.

Having read the reviews I stayed here hoping for a fun social place. But it was pretty deserted bxt full moon parties w only a couple other ppl staying there and the restaurant bar downstairs wasn't open. And u can get a bungalow on the beach for the same price. I would be a great place to stay during the party tho.

Had an awesome full moon party experience here. The setup was...unique but actually very conducive for a cohesive group to hang out. From the other reviews, you can probably tell the decor is interesting. Without this place, my full moon party experience would've been completely different in a bad way

Good place to stay, cheap, good location, clean sheets, only two showers and toilets for all though, everything is pink!, recommendable for a short stay!

The place is OK, but its location right at the top of the bar makes it noisy at night, make sure to bring earplugs if you are sensible to the noise! Cleanliness is OK, as well as bathrooms...

Met some really cool people there. You meet everyone because its just 1 big room full of beds with a couch and a balcony. Could rent bungalows on arrival for comparable price but everything on Koh Phengan is more expensive then it should be.
