From PANAMA CITY, PANAMA: go to the city main bus terminal (GRAN TERMINAL EN ALBROOK). Get on the EXPRESO bus to COLON (EXPRESO Panama-Colon) and will take you to the main bus terminal in Colon. From the Colon Bus Terminal you take the bus (old school bus) to Costa Abajo.
