The view of the water is absolutely incredible - a key highlight...so too the breakfast...Staff unfortunately struggled with any form of english which made it tough to obtain any info about what to do in MdSP...also no organised activities/nights...There are a lot of rooms (inc. tent facilities on the roof), although there was literally nobody there in the lead up to carnival (despite the city being full)-really unsure why. Mattresses werent great, and we probably overpayed for our room.

At first we loved the hostel. It has a great view, one of the best if not the best we've seen at Morro. In order to arrive to the Hostel you'll have to climb a few stairs that might be a difficulty if you are not able of doing much exercise but if not you'll be fine and you get used to it. You will be walking and climbing every day at Morro. But as the days pass through the Hostel services started to fall apart, we were 5 days without water and the owner didn't apologize never for it.

This hostel got a perfect view from the hill to the First beach and the Pharol de Morro de Sao Paulo. I was surprised that the hostel was empty, maybe because people prefer hostel near the beaches or in the centre. the only issue was that the wifi was not working for 4 days. But globally i would stay again in the hostel. The manager Helena was very helpful.
