Travel period - January 2013 Pros: 4-bed rooms are pretty spacious. Beds are standard for hostels, but comfortable. free breakfast is provided, Pretty tight on "outside" security. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Cons: 1 bathroom for the entire floor. Maybe it's just me, but the area seems shady and I always got lost getting back (streets all look alike). This hostel seems quieter than most; no free walking tours or clubbing nights.

It was a little bit cold in our room and bathroom wasn't very clean but otherwise it was fine.

This hostel was clean, the breakfast was decent, and the staff was very nice and helpful. You can't ask for too much more when it comes to hostels. It was a bit expensive, but we were there over New Years, so I'm assuming that's why.

Fantastic staff! Close to Termini, which also means decent subway access. Lacks kitchen, but breakfast is excellent. Rooms are clean, but bathrooms are shared between slightly too many dorms. Stayed in both Mosaic and M+J. MJ has free food in some evenings (huge plus) but Mosaic's rooms and bathrooms are cleaner. Very comfortable, will stay here again. Again, cannot stress how fantastic the staff was!!!

I loved this hostel. It was so clean and very comfortable to stay at. The staff were incredible and helped my sister and I out so much. They gave us so many recommendations and helped my sister when she was sick. We loved our short stay here and I would definitely stay here again.

Mosaic Hostel was good for a hostel. I would appreciate nicer beds and a cleaner/nicer bathroom (oh and more than one bathroom per floor). Other than those things, a good place to stay. I would stay there again. The staff was very helpful and fun. Ask them where to go to eat, etc and they'll help you out.

It was my first time travelling and backpacking in Europe and this hostel stands as the BEST. Nice and clean rooms with bathrooms/toilets, wi-fi, free breakfast and very friendly staff. Plus just a few minutes walk to the train station.

I could not fault this hostel. I've been traveling for 8 months and it was probably the best one I've come across. The staff were excellent and extremely helpful. The security is great with lockers provided in the rooms and at reception which is great for your valuables on the day you check out. The location is fantastic being about 5 minutes walk from the train station and there's just a good vibe about the place. Brilliant. Don't even think twice about this one, just book it!

No complaints at all about this hostel. The staff were super friendly which is always a great way to arrive. The place is organised, clean and in a great location. Definitely one of the better hostels I've stayed in.
