Old rooms, light went off, shower wasn't heating . We managed to fix these problems by ourselves, and this is definitely a viable option if you just need to stay one night. Just be sure to get there before office closes, otherwise you better find another place to stay.
A real nice relaxing hostel in the mountains with great scenery, recomended to anyone who wants somewhere to stop before travelling to the Grand Canyon.
This was a really nice place to stay. The staff were all reall friendly and helpful. Having towels, laundry powder and a basic breakfast included were great bonuses, and greatly appreciated free tea on offer all day. Beds were comfortable and rooms smelt fresh and clean. Location was good, just a short walk to loads of bars and cafés. Wished we could have stayed longer than one night.
Could not fault the place. lovely room and the staff were very helpful

The hostel has everything you need but let's be honest - it is a motel with a kitchen and a bagel for breakfast. Not great for a solo - but ou can easily go out on your own and meet people in this friendly town, I would reccomend staying at the sister hostel - Grand Canyon hostel. They do a joint tour to the Grand Canyon which is very good and Dylan the tour guide is excellent and very knowledgeable. Reasonably priced at $85 when I was there.
