I felt like home. Staff is incredible, specially Lola (Lolita is someone that you must know in Curitiba) and also Maria e Aline. This hostel was a very important part of my trip, one of the best I've ever stayed. If you are looking for a party-all-the-time-hostel, this is not the place for you. Now, if you're looking for a friendly atmosphere with great people, helpfull staff, well cleaned rooms, bathrooms, bedding, and etcetera, stay in Motter House and enjoy city and hostel!

the place had a nice, young atmosphere to it, big tv with programs in English, computer for common use and a billiard table. The top quality was, however, the extremely helpful and flexible (English speaking) personnel. When you are lucky, you might even get a home-cooked cake for breakfast. Strongly recommended.

Motter Home is very well-managed and the staff is very professional. The house is full of character and full of funny little notes around. The atmosphere is very relax and one can use the amenities easily. The management and the staff are great and we had a very good couple of days there. The staff is very knowledgeable and always happy to help you. We will definitively recommend Motter Home to other travelers. For us Motter Home has been the best stay so far !

This is pretty much the hostel that you want all hostels to be. The details were awesome (I particularly liked the sign in the shower explaining how to use the shower so you get hot water...a small detail that makes a big difference), very helpful staff, and awesome facilities. One of the nicer places we've stayed in 4 months in South America.

Staff didn't communicate very well with each other during my visit. I arrived too early to "officially check in" and then when I came back to get into a room the front desk woman talked to her boyfriend for about 45 minutes before she would address me in the room. (I think she thought I was a guest of a guest - not a person staying with them).

Fantastic hospitality! Aline maintains a very welcoming hostel. Beds are sturdy, comfortable and rooms well ventilated with windows. V. good kitchen facilities, and breakfast. She informs travelers well about what's happening (just ask her and she ressearches it!), directions, how to get from here to there. One of the best hostels I've stayed in (and this over a 40 year period!!).

If i had a hostel of mine, i'd like it to be like this ! You can tell that everything has been thought ahead, nice comfortable and spacious droms with good lockers, good breakfast, good location (close to bus, close to the center of Curitiba, quiet residential area), cleanest bathroom i've ever seen in a hostel, and last but not least, friendliest staff ever. I highly recommend it, definitely your home in Curitiba !

The hostel is a very charming old house, on about 15 minutes walking from the historic center. In a nice green area. The staff is very helpfull on all information you need and can help you book the Serro do Mar train tickets or provide any other kind of info on Curitiba with a daily agenda (what is up in the city). Also the beds are very comfortable..
