Very kind and helpful staff. Atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly. The location is great because it is close to everything but tucked away from all the bustle and noise of the city centre. I would definitely recommend MOUNTAIN PEACE, excellent value for money.

At first I like the fact that it was the cheapest place I could find. $3 per night for a shared bathroom was amazing. Unfortunately, the bathroom was completely unsanitary and disgusting. I had to switch to an en suite right away. $5 per night for an en suite is great, but after seeing other hotels in the area, I found that I could find BETTER places for the same price. That's why I decided to move. Also, there is no trekking/travel agency attached to the guest house. This is a lie.

We were supposed to get picked ut at the aritport but nobody showed up. But when we got there we did get a "discount". Our room was ok, but we had allmost no water, and the toilet didn't work. It was an ok place to sleep in. But we stayed there in the low season. The food at the hostel was cold(the nepalese dishes) but hte mushroom soup was good. But got foodpoisoning. The wifi never worked cus the power easily shuts down, but the rooms have emergency lights so you don't have to worry about that
