Hostel was ok, bed was comfy and showers were good. Bedroom and bathroom was clean. But the kitchen wasn't kept very clean, the surfaces were soaking wet most of the time. Interent was good. All in all ok place to stay.

Overall a great clean hostel that I would not hesitate to stay there again. From what I saw the only improvements that I would recommend were as follows; Showers. I would add a couple of those cheap rubber door mats made out of old car tyres so when the floor is wet you have something to stand on to get changed. Also some clothes hocks would have be good. Dorms I would have liked to have had a locker/cupboard to lock my gear in.

Indoor communal area was small. No iron which was a shame. I think it is a bit cheeky to charge extra to leave bags once you have checked out. However, clean sheets and bathroom

This is a lovely quiet backpackers, family run and small enough to be personal. A very well kept hostel with pretty garden. Only down side is the shared shower and toilet area other than this, a great place to stay.

Mostly a great stay in Wanaka. Reception seemed a lot friendlier to fellow German speakers than us which was a shame, and seemed very surprised that we asked for a security deposit box - saying nice people stay there so need for one! The setting is lovely, the garden was really nice and well kept with comfy chairs to sit on.

The dorm room and bathroom facilities were fine, while the gardens were big and impressive. We just couldn't handle the tiny kitchen, it was like a scrum with everyone fighting for a hob or a worktop!

Manager was super nice and helpful. Beds were good. All around nice hostel.

Very lovely hostel. Perfect place. Would recommend to everyone who planning to visit Wanaka.
