Absolutely enjoyed my stay!! Location was superb, the room was big and comfortable, the kitchen and amenities were always clean and tidy. Can't find a fault for the price and the security was the icing on the cake!! 💫💫💫💫💫 5 stars!!!

Good location. Easy to get to from the central train stop. Staff/front desk is only available from 7am to 7pm. Booked a 4 bed mixed and was given a 6 bed mixed. Not a big deal, but things like that shouldn't happen, especially when paying the same price. Staffed comped the wifi to make up for which they charge $5/day.

Only one fan in 6 bed dorm so was very hot and stuffy in the room during summer. No wifi in room

shared areas cleanness is weak but location is good.

Power points not readily available in my room - only 2 between the wall and the bed below mine. I had to stay in the kitchen to charge my phone feeling sleepy before going to bed. No door or even a curtain to block the view from the corridor to the shower room on the second floor. The locker in one of the cubicles didn't even work. Privacy during shower time isn't well protected... No air-conditioning but only one electronic fan in the room. That could be very inconvenient in summer.

The staff were clueless, not backpacker friendly at all...everyone there was working full time. Not great location. Staff could have been a lot more helpful and welcoming. Bathrooms did not work for a full day. Don't get excited by the free breakfast- it's out of date cornflakes.

Overall the hostel was great.. my only 2 things i didnt like and its mainly a personal choice is 1. The fan in the room didnt ossilate and it was a very hot night. 2. The communal showers were quite small and there wasnt room to have clothes/towel etc without it getting wet and also putting on clean clothes without a wet floor.

Nothing special about this place. Good location for an overnight stay waiting for a flight. Wouldn't stay here longer than a night or two.

Very hot in the room. Good location, really close to central station.

Very basic hostel, the staff was not helpful or friendly. Customers service was quite poor. They make you feel as if you are paying and staying in a 5 star hotel, when it is a very basic hostel with very few facilities and poor level of quality. Very expensive for what they offer. Location is good.

Budget hotel/hostel (couple staying in a private room). Though excellent location in CBD. Good value for money. Arrived at 9am and friendly staff allowed us to check into our room and invited us to breakfast - excellent service. Only 'negative comment' is there are no 'safes'' in room for valuables. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and will recommend it to others.

A decent hostel in a convenient spot along George Street, close to plenty of cheap eats and central station. The room I stayed in (number 7) has a window facing out into a courtyard which is supposed to be closed after a certain time, it wasn't, and Saturday night revellers from the hostel stayed out there all night and made a noise. A per bed light would also be a useful thing - our room just had the one very bright fluro, not so convenient at night when some are sleeping and some are not.

The place was alright, I liked the diner/lounge since it had a wooden table I used to study some of the time. The safety, cleanliness and overall atmosphere was good enough, not a party hostel but a nice one to be in. The breakfast was good, better than in other places, the facilities -with exception of the courtyard- were always clean. The drawbacks are the lack of signs to indicate were the hostel is (it was really hard to find, I walked past it twice) and them charging for everything..

Nice place to stay. Staff very friendly. Breakfast is a good inclusion and the pillows are brilliant. Strange no alcohol rule though and the bathrooms are a bit small.

Very run down, poor ablution facilities and the stated continental breakfast consisted of one loaf of bread and bottle of milk left out in the morning.
