It was ok but no real common area to chill out and overall pretty shabby.

we were really not satisfied about this hostel. The staff is not friendly, the beds are not comfortable (even broken and you can't grab your bed)

Excellent hostel. Comfortable, tidy and clean hostel. I advice it to everybody.

There were some misunderstandings concerning our bookings, but the manager (or owner) tried hard to accommodate us. Unfortunately on our 2nd stay I was given a bed with a broken ladder (it had already been broken a week before) and my friend was supposed to stay in a mixed dormitory. Because our complaints were justified we were reimbursed without problem. The hostel has a good location and is for Australian standards cheap, but I recommend to put a couple of dollars more and stay at YHA

Dirty bathrooms, rubbish under the beds, filthy sheets & mattresses, smelly room. One of the beds broke, when I sat down. Staff wanted to make me responsible for breaking the bed...Pictures on the internet don`t match reality. not worth the money! Wouldn´t recommend exept you don`t care about cleanness and just look for something central...location is good (in CBD)...
