Addis is a bit expensive and the place is a bit out of the center, but many mini buses take you there. Helpful staff

A pleasant, quiet spot in Addis, handily placed between the centre of the city. and the airport (from the airport it's a short taxi ride or, for true backpackers, an easy 2.7km stroll which includes 2 opportunities to withdraw cash from Dashen Bank ATMs along the way). The hostel facilities are fine and in the surrounding area there are numerous cafes, restaurants, a good bakery, fruit stalls, etc. We liked it so much that we have booked to stay there when we return to Addis later in our trip.

This place has changed ownership and it is VERY obvious. I am annoyed that they falsely advertise on hostel world by saying that they have internet, and restaurant when this is not true. The price is also wrong we payed $20. The owners do not take the down payment customers pay out of their total bill as is the rule on Hostel world they simply add it to your bill, so you actually end up paying more if you book through hostel world. I think the new owners really need to lift their game.

The bed was not a double bed, it was only enough for one person, because it was very small. The next morning we had bites von bed bugs on our skin. The toilets are not clean. Sorry, it was cheap, but anyway, we can't recommend this location.

LOVE this place. I've been to Addis twice and I can't think of a better location - right beside Bole and a street lined with bars. The staff were exceptional, too, and great fun. We were five friends and felt right at home here. Every night there's always a cool gang gathered to share a few beers and some injera. GREAT value for money, very safe, and cool atmosphere. Stay here.. it really is a no-brainer.

Martins Cozy place is for everybody who wants a safe yet down to earth place to return after a day exploring Addis. The staff are awsome, you will be instantly made to feel at home without being over treated. Breakfast and some of that famous Ethiopian coffee are availiable in morning in a shaded off street area set just enough from from the noise of city life to be quiet yet definatly not isolated. Anybody who wants to rough it a little, yet still have home comforts will love Martins Cozy Place

The rooms surround a nice, peaceful courtyard. The place is close to the airport and there's lots of bars and restaurants nearby. The staff/owners speak English and are very helpful. My only complaint is that there was no hot water in the shared bathroom. Still, this is a great place. I can't imagine there's anywhere better for the price.

Mr. Martins cozy plaze is a wonderful little spot in the middle of Addis Abbaba. It has a wonderful garden/ backyard where you can injoy a nice breakfast, coffe and rediealously cheap beer. The staf is some of the sweetest people I have ever met, and you feel safe at Mr. Martins at all times. The location is very sentral, but stil Mr. Martins feels like a quite oase in a buissy city. Recomended for everyone who prefers charm and soule compared to fancy hotels.

Great location near the airport. Great for a layover as the 14 US dollar a night charge is a deal even if only staying 8 hours or so. The taxi fare should not exceed 100 BIRR but be aware they will start out much higher than that. Don't even bother going to taxi desk at airport as they wanted 400BIRR. The facility itself is cute, an enclosed compound that has rooms and serves great coffee, tea and snacks. Highly recommend it.. David Hutchison, NY NY USA

I arrived quite late at night but was expected and shown to my room. Payment was done the next day. Very easy and well organised. Lovely garden area and friendly staff.

i guess its okay for ethiopia, rather far from the city center, the people are really nice, but it was more of a guest house than a hostel, there is an internet cafe outside, though there is no internet access at the place.
