Overpriced, not well maintained. Broken lockers and clogged toilets
There is a small desk on the balcony which is sometimes staffed with someone to help you check in, but there is no 24/7 security as promised. This is an issue because as soon as you walk into the sliding front door (which does not lock) you are inside the rooms. There are lockers, though not all work. The place is dirty and there are too many beds packed into one room, and for all this it is a bit pricey. Better off finding a bungalow once you arrive on the island.
Decent location, dirty dirty dirty, toilets always clogged. Door is open at all times so anyone could step in (and did), bring your own lock to at least have a semblance of security in the broken down lockers. Overall just felt gross, but at least it had AC I guess. Staff were nice enough. Located right next to a fruit stand and garbage bins, yay...
Terrible security. The room has an open door accessible to a main street at all times i.e anyone can walk into the room in the night. Toilet/Shower area not very clean. However if you are in Koh Phi Phi to party then who cares as it is a short stumble from the beach and other nightlife. Others in the hostel will be as keen as you to get out of there and go out for a few drinks. There must be better hostels around but I had a good time at this one.
Good place to go for partying & meeting other people. It's a tad dirty (it's cleaned daily though) and the upstairs bathroom doesn't have a sink but the place is livable, certainly for only the two nights I spent there. Phi Phi had so much going on I barely spent any time in my room. Otherwise the place is awesome, staff friendly (English sometimes a challenge with 1 or 2 guys so be patient) and the location is awesome (next to a supermarket). I will definitely stay here again.
Super basic but to be fair I have heard worst stories about places in phi phi.
Expensive for a hostel (500 baht/night). Disgusting bathrooms. The dorms are large and the doors are always unlocked so anyone can just walk right in. The first floor dorm is pretty noisy but the second floor dorm is calmer. They turn off the aircon during the day. There are often mosquitoes in the dorms, and of course lots of young, drunk Englishmen. You may like it if you party every night and pass out drunk, but I would not recommend it to anyone else. The wifi works some of the time.
Security worried me the Most. Cause two of the lockers were broken so i guess it wasnt very Safe. Despite of 16 people in the room i slept well.

This hostel is much better than what the rating applice! It is basic. But it is good. Hot showers, wi-fi, clean beds working toiletts. Location is good, close to the party but you Will still be able to sleep at night if you want. It is not the best hostel in the world. But it is good. It is just very basic. But don't be scared off by the rating!!!
U can find a better hostel for the same price, my ipod was stolen while i sleept and this other guy got his phone stolen the same night. No locks on the door and the nightguard will not stay there the whole night so anyone can walk right inn do the doorm. They turn of the aircon juribg the day so the room is never really cold at night. I whould never stay here again.
