Everything was excellent, including the customer service. Just wish there had been an option for a Triple Room.

I didn't realize when booking this is NOT an actual hostel. It's a lodge with some backpacker dorms and communal kitchen. No lockers. Atmosphere wasn't like a normal hostel and there was nothing going on. Though, it is a beautiful location and if you're looking for some peace and quiet, it's perfect.

Rooms are old but the cleaners do a good job. Food was terrible and we had the worst experience getting our food as it took over an hour. $2 for towels is stupid when they give you hand towels and a bath mat. I wouldn't stay here again.

I like the overall ambience of the accomodation, the lobby, the cafetaria was perfect with a clear view of Mt cook on a clear day. The staff was extremely helpful in giving the information regarding the activities and nitty gritty on the hostel. The only opportunity area is the Bed! which extremely thin that makes your back hurt :(

Standard hostel.the sauna is a bonus but its weighed out since there is no free tea and coffee which is basically a standard around NZ.

Really nice hostel. Beds were comfortable. Nice lobby and sitting room. Staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. Really enjoyed my experience here. Just wish I could have stayed for longer. Location is excellent. Right in the middle of the National Park and scenery is great.

Everything is excellent except the dining area is a bit small, not really enough.

The beds in the dorm rooms are really bad, especially for this price you would expect to get good bunks, but these cheap metal beds are just hurting in the back. Besides that and the little options to buy food, I had a good stay.

Very nice hostel, with great staff and great views. Great bar with good food, good music and incredible view of the mountains! In all; great stay! We only had a problem with a staffmember who was not willing to help when we wanted to rent two bikes. There was only one bike left, after we specifically asked the day before if we needed to make any reservations. Instead of showing us some help (through another hostel?) she just told us to wait for a few hours or to have showed up sooner. Rude..
