This Hostel has an excellent location, right on Gran Via, a minute up the road from Plaza D'Espana. If you're looking for a good place to stay for a couple nights you can't go wrong. It's very easy to find and convenient. If I was travelling alone I probably wouldn't stay here as it wasn't a very sociable hostel compared to some other really highly rated hostels around Spain and Europe.

I loved MuchoMadrid! Although they didn't speak much English, if at all, they were super nice and more than willing to help you out with whatever you needed. The bathrooms were nice and clean and I would say the only downside was that it was a bit noisy from the traffic down below...but it is just such a good/popular location that it was worth it. I would definitely go back there.

A hostel advertise as an "international destination" should have a staff that could talk in English.

Quite a good hostel, advertised having kitchen - although this only included microwave and fridge. Otherwise fine - friendly staff, clean modernish bathrooms.

Only stayed there for a night, but as I might return to Madrid next week, I'm definately going there again. Held by a middle aged couple, who were extremely helpful and friendly (this might be because we spoke Spanish, I'm not sure how well -if at all- they can help you in English). Nice breakfast, very good location, and really, really clean.

Was an ok hostel as far as amenities. No one spoke english at receptiona and the older guy that ran this place was extremely rood. I showed up in the afternoon and everything was good the lady there at the time was nie and polite, however when I got bak from the bar later that night the man demanded that I show him my passport and pay there and then. The next day two of my friends that were staying at another hostel but just hanging out in th common room, he demanded that they leave immediatly.

We did not end up staying here, but when we emailed several times to cancel our reservation and never got a response. When we called, they hung up on us. Twice.

It was definitely worth what I paid. The staff is really nice. It's a safe and clean place. The only inconveniences were the noise from outside--since it's right on Gran Via--and that you have to ring the doorbell everytime you want to get in. I got in at 5am and I had to ring the doobell for about 10 min before they opened it. I would still stay there again.

We had really nice time at MuchoMadrid. Location is just fantastic. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They speak mainly Spanish but it wasn\'t a big problem for us. There should be a bigger choice for breakfast because non everyone likes toast with jam. But for that price it\'s a good hostel and we may use it again at some stage in the future.
