Was an ok hostel as far as amenities. No one spoke english at receptiona and the older guy that ran this place was extremely rood. I showed up in the afternoon and everything was good the lady there at the time was nie and polite, however when I got bak from the bar later that night the man demanded that I show him my passport and pay there and then. The next day two of my friends that were staying at another hostel but just hanging out in th common room, he demanded that they leave immediatly.

We did not end up staying here, but when we emailed several times to cancel our reservation and never got a response. When we called, they hung up on us. Twice.

It was definitely worth what I paid. The staff is really nice. It's a safe and clean place. The only inconveniences were the noise from outside--since it's right on Gran Via--and that you have to ring the doorbell everytime you want to get in. I got in at 5am and I had to ring the doobell for about 10 min before they opened it. I would still stay there again.

The hostel was lovely, it even had unsqueaky beds! The only problem was that it's quite hard to find I thought, maybe a (bigger) sign on the door would help.

This hostel was horrible. The man who runs this place is rude, speaks no english, and was not meant for customer service. The hostel is small, with no common room for socializing. No range/stove for cooking(only a microwave) and he cuts off the Wi-fi/computer at midnight. He has a list of rules down to the floor and is constantly hawking over you to make sure none are broken. This place is expensive. I recommend staying elsewhere....

Not sure why this place is so highly rated. It is in a good location, but itīs not a very social hostel 'as there are no real common rooms. i did not encounter this but people in my room said they were yelled at for walking around after midnight. breakfast is good, and the staff seemed nice to me. but the beds were uncomfortable.

Very easy to reach on the metro, which was why we chose it, but the bedrooms overlook Gran Via, so it was noisy all night. Maybe better if the windows were closed and there was some A/C...? Staff was nice, not highly proficient in English, but sufficiently so. Free WiFi was very helpful, beds were clean, and there were plenty of showers. Good overall.
