Hostel was in a very convenient location. However, it's not the place to go if you want to meet other travelers. There is no central gathering spot besides the kitchen. Biggest issue was the bathrooms. There were 3 individual ones for the whole hostel. If I got up and wanted to just use a sink to brush my teeth and people were showering, I couldn't. Also the door into the main building was extremely difficult to open as it was partially broken. Overall, it was acceptable and a pleasant stay.
Great location. Friendly staff. Quiet atmosphere.
Perfect area at first kinda hard to find but once found its the perfect area to hang and party. All the clubs are no more than 20 minutes at most away.

Great place with down to earth, fun staff. If I'm back in Madrid I'll go back!
Only the wooden floor is very creaky. It's not more than what you would expect for the very cheap price. Awesome location. Breakfast is included. I just stayed one night and it was good enough for me.
The only thing the stops MuchoMadrid from getting a perfect score are the beds. A thin mattress over wooden slats (three of which were broken on mine) is not very comfortable to sleep on. Everything else was the best possible experience a person could have in their first Hostel stay. The staff did offered everything they could for my stay, the breakfast every morning was basic, but I just enjoyed having fresh juices. I definitely recommend MuchoMadrid. The price is great also.
It has everything you need - sheets, towels, breakfast. even if Its pretty small and seemed quite basic with creaky floorboard. We slept very well despite paper thin walls and windows - it seemed to be quiet during the night. There are 3 bathrooms, quite small and basic, but again, everything you need. Breakfast was cereal, toast, packet croissants and muffins, with coffee and juice.
The location was awesome and the facilities were nice. It was for sure safe. There was not really a community atmosphere. It was more your own room. The breakfast provided was awesome. The only thing to note is that the staff can do your laundry but they kind of put up a stink about it and make you pay 6E. Would have stayed there again based on location.
Very helpful guy working there for the first few days i was there, strange hostel this on the 7th floor no atmosphere no bar no where to meet people tiny kitchen are, it's just a flat or apartment turned into a hostel. Do you like to sleep at night? well you can't here the main street gran via is making noise 24/7 and the thin single glazing doors in my room did nothing to reduce the noise and really ruined my 6 days i was there, Madrid is a really cool place but just don't stay here.
