Wow!!! This was the best hostel ever! The staff were always friendly and helpfull which makes such a difference! John organized some great activities and Pedro's dancing to the cool music played throughout the day was amazing!! Clean and organized, what more can I say....

it was a very good stay. i went with my girlfriend and the bedroom we stay was fine, despite the smell of the kitchen, more indicated for young people in the fist experience travelling alone or in a group to have some fun away from the parents

I only stayed one quick night, but everything was satisfactory. Not a big fan of the sexually explicit artwork, though. It`s also a quite large hostel (less intimate), if that`s not what you are looking for.

Idk why there are so many naked women on the walls, but otherwise this place was clean, well located and well priced.

The bathrooms could be cleaner, but other than that its great place to stay in Madrid. The free city tour by Harriet was awesome and the room was nice.

hostel is very clean and modern looking however the bed i stayed on was terrible. it had springs sticking out and the pillow was just a tiny piece of cloth. i dont know why some hostels spend so much money on renovations and such and then find the cheapest and worst beds imaginable. room was very nice other wise with a very good ensuite bathroom.

This was my first stay in a hostel and I liked it very much. The location of Musas Residence is good, nearby the city centre (Sol, Plaza Mayor) and the Reina Sofia and Prado (I only took the metro when visiting other cities), and can easily be reached from the airport (takes about 3/4 to 1 hour). The hostel itself was is also very nice; good cooking, relax, and computer facilities, clean kitchen, bed- and bathroom, friendly people, ..., it is definitely worth going back once.

This hostel was wonderful. The staff were super friendly, everything was clean, noise wasnt a problem (I was on the second floor) and the activities were fantastic.

Perhaps the hostel becomes safer if you had a accessible telephone within the hostel. I forgot to advise that the 4th floor shower light is not working. The street (c/ Jesus y Maria) is very dark at night and passes the idea of being dangerous by some guys and groups that are used to walk there. Maybe the the main door should win a brighter light, it's just an idea.

Have used many hostals in new zealand and australia and this was very good. Made far better by the man behind the counter, pedro, the brazilian. Full of energy and nothing was to much. He certainly made a great first impression which led to the rest of the stay being fantastic. I was skeptical with the different hostals as this was a new country for me. I highly recommend. Great price and location. Clean and tidy (Both look and smell). FANTASTIC!

The Hostel is in a nice location, its perfect for sightseeing. The beds are a little bit annoying because they squeak with every move. And the bed sheets are not included, which sucks! Kitchen is perfect, everything inside what you need.

The staff guys are very friendly and really nice and the hostel is really social and it has many opportunities for you to meet people. It has a big lounge plus a downstairs area with a computer lab. However the girls bathroom on the first floor were dirty and the floor was always wet, the hostel was a little noisy and I kept waking up at night, and they don´t give you bed sheets, but you get what you paid for.

This is a big, impersonal hostel. They've made an effort with the communal area but the room was very basic and you have to pay for a duvet cover or extra sheet. If you're into noisy spaces with lots of people, go for it. Good kitchen facilities although it gets packed with lots of people cooking at the same time. The area is handy for sights and museums but is a bit rough. Overall a pretty good base but could be less institutional. Pedro, one of the receptionists, does a good job!
