Museum Residence is an authentic 17th century self catering 2 bedroom apartment, perfect for 6 guests! Located in the heart the Canal District between two of the most famous and beautiful canals, the Keizersgracht and Prinsengracht.
With a blend of classical style, this fully furnished and modern flat is set over four floors and offers a total area space of 70m2 as well as comfort. Each room retains it's original wooden ceilings that has barely changed for almost 400 years! It's huge windows create a light, genuine atmosphere for all.
Please note that you should take precautions since there are typical steep steps in the apartment and access for the elderly and handicapped impaired is difficult.
On the first floor you will find the first of the two bedrooms. This one has two large box-spring beds and a spacious closet to store your clothes. Next to the bedroom is a well-appointed bathroom with a bath and WC.
Everything a chef desires is up on the second floor. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove with four hobs, a built-in oven, fridge and a dishwasher. A dining table fits six people, making the space perfect for a brunch or a simple breakfast.
Invite your friends to sit down on the third floor in the living room to watch national as well as international soccer games on the flat screen. Two of the comfortable sofas turn into sofa beds.
The second bedroom is on the top floor, with two large box-spring beds and a large cupboard. It's sloping wooden walls are characteristic of this kind of typical era house and giving off a warm and traditional feeling to it.
There's also a washing machine and separate dryer on the 4th floor as well as loads of other amenities!

Cancellation policy is 3 days in advance
We accept payment by cash, debit & credit card
-Late check-in from 6pm-10pm is 30 Euro, check-in after 10pm is 50 Euro.
-Extra early check in between 10am-3pm - 30 euros
-Extra late check-in fee from 6pm-10pm - 30 euros
-Late check-out after 12 is 50 Euro. (In cases where nobody is coming to the apartment same day).
Cleaning fee 40 Euros
There is a security (damage/key) deposit of Euro 250 refundable on departure. This deposit will be refund by Bank Transfer or Pay Pal account. Cash refund is available under the condition of extra 30 euros payment at check in.
Late Check in 30 Euros
In the case that a check-out is before 9:00, the security deposit will be returned via PayPal or Bank transfer once the apartment is inspected.

This property has a 3 day cancellation policy.Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge equal to the first night of your stay.
