This is a great hostel, and seems to sum up exactly what Nashville is about, MUSIC! The staff were great the rooms were small but very clean and the kitchen was good and the free nutella was also good. The price was cheap enough and the location wasn't too far from downtown, just a short bus ride away.

Generally this hostel is fantastic. The atmosphere there is great and there is a fantastic team of staff and brilliant facilities to match. There isn't any breakfast which is the downside but apart from that my experience of Music City Hostel is such that it is one of the best hostels I've stayed at and I've stayed at quite a few :)

Very clean and friendly. Easy paperwork. Only blocks from some pubs, Vanderbilt within the mile, and downtown in 2.5 miles. Its in my top 5 of hostels to visit again.

Hostel was in a good location, easy walk or cheap taxi to downtown area. Not much atmosphere when we were there but a very relaxed vibe and being Nashville a few musicians playing guitar in the evening which was nice. Overall good value for money and Nashville is a damn fine town

A great place to stay- very much a community atmosphere and although it felt professionally run, we felt very welcomed and instantly at home here. staff and guests mix openly and socialise till the early morning, but are still very considerate noise wise. Just a great place to hang out! there are many people there who stopped for a couple of nights and stayed for months.

Bunk beds were crazy creaky, but besides that, my stay was awesome. Your staff is amazing [Kaity's the bomb], super friendly. I loved the open mic you guys had the first night I was there, it was a great way to include everyone. I also appreciated the fact that staff was around until 2am and started back up again at 6, made me feel safe that you guys were around so much, and that you stayed in the rooms with us, too. Great atmosphere, made lots of friends, thanks so much!

Staff shows you around barefoot and seem to ride a different wave, locks go by door code, no lockers provided, computer use is ridiculously expensive and mostly used by staff to facebook/online gaming, same computer also works as the reception computer, credit card payments go manually via a paypal browser. Place could have been cleaned better than hippie standards. Kitchen was nice, breakfast okish. Overall way overpriced for what you get. But it's nice to meet other people.

Bathrooms were really clean, which is always the first thing I check. Both the staff and the other people staying were willing to chat and everyone had recommendations for places to see, giving the place an overall really friendly atmosphere. Would definitely stay here again!
