The hostel is nice and the atmosphere is great with all the musical themed pictures and vinyls on the walls. Only flaw, it is called Music Hostel but there wasn't any music playing, ever... It would have been much better with a musical background.

Very good location. Thin walls, so you can hear almost everything in the next room, small lockers. Not very friendly staff.
This is a pretty average hostel. Clean, comfortable, good facilities, good location, helpful staff. Couple of things did annoy me. Arriving at 9:30pm, the gate to the courtyard was locked, no intercom or anything. I had to make an international call to reception, to tell them I was at the gate and to come let me in. Lucky my phone worked. As it was end of October, there were only a handful of guests, which were all put into one room, which was rather smelly due to other guests poor hygiene.
The shower is an absolute nightmare to take. You will either be washing in a cold or hot water there is no option in between. The hostel mainly accommodate groups so take earplugs with you if you sleep lightly.
The location is excellent. The staff is great. Thank you Pisston for being an awesome host, for pointing out what places to visit , where to go for a beer and introducing me to fantastic Polish bands.
Nice hostel - everything was clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly. It's located on the main drag in Lodz, so there was plenty going on, however, the hostel is away from the road, so there was no problem from noise. It was pretty quiet when I was there, so I can't really comment on the social aspect of things.
