Ivan was nice and my friends was a lovely place to stay.

Ivan is a lovely host who is very helpful and also environmentally conscious which is great. The room was in a great location, close & easy to walk to from the train station plus close to most of Florence's attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, it was clean, warm, reasonably quiet and comfortable, and would recommend it. It was good value for where we were for the time of year that we were there.

The owner is a very helpful person and the room we stayed was very quiet. The only problem we had was the shower wich was difficult to manage, but we would definetely recommend this place!

It's my 3rd time here. Feels like home - thanks to Ivan! Close to central station and to the city center. Hope to come back sooner than expect!

The location of the hostel was excellent since it was very close to the center of Florence.However, the private room that we booked was what seemed to be a storage room turned into a room. It had no windows, only a small one with bars.The bed speardings were disgraseful and generally all the furniture in the room looked as though someone had brought them from their home which were unwanted. There was no televison only a radio and there was no reception. I would not recommend this hostel.

The thing that makes this hostel awesome was the worker there, Ivan. Our group had rented a car and due to ferry times in Orbetello and the labyrinth that are the streets of Florence, we arrived just over 5 hours after we had told Ivan we would be. He not only waited up for us, but sent me 3 emails making sure that we were okay and asking if we were in some sort of trouble. The room was simple, clean, and offers easy access to central Florence. The only downside is that there is no WIFI.

Ivan is a terrific host. He is very helpful and provides great insights into Florence. The room was very clean and spacious. Overall, it was a great experience.

Good - Very close to the Railway station & within walking distance of most attractions. Bad - The room had no natural light & had poor ventilation. - Bed Linen provided wasn't clean. Found hair on the bed linen, doubt if it was even washed after the last guest left. - We said we will arrive at 10.30, but got delayed & arrived at 12 noon, only to find our booking cancelled .Had to pay the deposit again to retain the booking. So if you are to book here please ensure that you arrive on time.

The location is very convenient, very close to the train & bus station.. the staff is great, very helpful.. for the rest, i would say there is nothing particular, you get what you pay for...

A nice and pleasant place to stay in Florence, 10 minutes to go from the railwaystation, an old building with thick walls to keep you cool in hot summerdays, small tidy room with own bathroom offering a rest after spending a whole day in a beautiful city, very friendly stuff. Thanks Ivan :).
