Nadina and Elio are the nicest hostel owners I've ever come across. They set a very warm and pleasant atmosphere which brings together the guests living in the hostel. On the whole not a very large hostel but guests are provided with linen, food &a map and a whole list of suggestions of places, eateries etc depending on your tastes. Very close to the train station and walk-able distance to all major attractions. Please do go stay here for an amazing experience and a chance to make new friends :)

AWESOME Place to stay. - Definitely worth the money. The couple who runs of the place (Nadina and the guy) are very nice & accommodating - willing to advise you everything in Florence - where to wander around, best place to eat, the bestest coffee shop - and how to order one in Italian style :) One of the shower rooms might need a water-barrier on the floor though. Reckon the curtain is not enough – the floor after shower is always wet. Other than that, this place is simply THE BEST.

If you go to Florence, stay here....it's that simple. This place is cozy, charming and centrally located. Nadina is the nicest person you will ever encounter and she makes sure you feel at home. The next time I travel to Italy, I will go out of my way to spend a night in Florence and stay here.

My friend's is one of the best, if not the best place I stayed! It stand out by the friendly atmosphere and the staff that have a lots of kind attentions. They take the time to help you plan your trip but also to have real conversations. All these little things make you feel comfortable and like home. It is also quiet at night time so you can sleep well! I usually don't write comments but this place is very special, I can tell they like what they do and it does make a real difference! :)

This is the first time I am in Italy and the hostel is definitely one of the best that I have stayed in. Really liked this place~ Great people and the room was so comfortable that I was reluctant to leave. :) Thanks for the lovely breakfast and also taking the effort to make the guests feel at home~ :D Would definitely recommend this place to my friends visiting florence~

A truly exceptional hostel. This is one of my favourite hostels in the world & is definitely my favourite in Europe (of the approx. 20 I have stayed). The owners/staff of this hostel are really what makes it. They are the most helpful & warm people who love their hostel & what they do & enjoy a good chat at times too. The facilities are more than enough, location is good & the breakfast will fill you up for the day.. HIGHLY recommend this hostel &will definitely be back when I return to Florence

We were made to feel very welcome at this hostel. We were given great tips from our host. The hostel is very close to the station!

This is a fantastic hostel. It is right in the center (10 minutes' walk from the Duomo). It's very clean and has a more home-like atmosphere. It's a smaller hostel (only a few rooms), so it's ideal for solo travellers or small groups. Nadina is so friendly and takes a lot of time to point out the best restaurants, gelato, and sights in the city. One of my best experiences at a hostel, I would definitely stay here again!

This hostel is superb. Staff is extremely welcoming and helpful, and give you tips for whatever it is you want to do in florence. It's almost like visiting a friend, when you stay at My Friends Hostel

We LOVED this hostel! The owners are SO nice and helpful. The reviews about them are why I booked this hostel, and they were 100% true. The WIFI works great, the rooms are super nice. Breakfast is great too--toast, apple, croissant, jelly.. typical hostel breakfast. They also offer you hot tea and coffee throughout the day which I thought was so nice. The only thing was that there isn't much of a common area, which was a shame because the hostel vibe is awesome and super good for meeting people.

Nadina was amazing with recommendations on where to go, what to do, and food or places to try! She and her boyfriend were so warm and welcoming, that it was almost like visiting family or friends.

Nadina and Elio were SO sweet and helpful. Since my friends and I were only staying in Florence for less than a day, Nadina helped us pick out the must-visit sites and the most delicious but affordable restaurants and dessert places to go. During our stay, all the guests we met adored Nadina, and we couldn't agree more that she really puts her heart into providing the most comfortable environment for the guests. We also met some really great people at the hostel! I will definitely come back! (:

Very friendly, spoke Italian, German, and English well. 2 minutes from the train station, 10-15 from the Duomo. Clean bed, towel, locker with locks, 2 bathrooms, good wifi, minipie at breakfast, can't go wrong here.
