Our stay at My Friends was amazing! First off, Nadina is the most precious women ever! We had free coffee and tea whenever we wanted and breakfast was put together every morning! If we ever had a question about where to eat or how to get some where or what to do, Nadina was more than happy to look stuff up for us and give us at advice! We met some great people while staying at the hostel! It was also literally right around corner from the train station. It also had the best cup of coffee ever!

Nadina was very kind and accommodating. She even prepares breakfast personally. There was wifi even in the rooms. Nadina recommended some restaurants which were amazing! There is a rule that no one is allowed to make noise or stay in the common area after 11pm which i think is good because i was able to sleep well without disruptions. There are only 2 bathrooms so there is sometimes a wait. But i did not have to wait because i always woke up early :) It is near the train station.

I think this hostel is really well-balanced. The hostel itself is small, but there's plenty of space in the room. Location was close to Firenze SMN and easy to find. Large locker made me feel secure. Every space was always clean. Breakfast was good enough. In addition, Nadina was so so so kind. I felt she was always trying to make my stay wonderful, even when I didn't request her to help me. There're lots of hostel in Firenze, but I strongly recommend you to choose My Friends. It's worth it.

I don't usually write reviews unless the hostel is exceptionally good which this hostel is. The owners of this hostel are the nicest and caring people I've met during my Eurotrip. I've been to many hostels and this place is the best hostel I've ever stayed at. It is literally a 2 minute walk from the SMN train station and a 5-10 minute walk to any major attraction in Florence. The showers are warm, offer free towels, and have heaters in the rooms which is important in winter. STAY HERE.

Wonderful, small, very personable hostel with very friendly owners who care about their guests, make great recommendations, and work hard to make a great social space. Highly recommended; one of the most pleasant hostel stays I've ever had.

Nadina and Elio were amazing hosts. From the moment we checked in, they were so helpful with everything from recommending places to eat and pointing out how to get around Florence on the map to us! They did all the work. Also, thanks a bunch for recommending the Cinque Terre area to us and helping us how to get there with the trains. We loved the Cinque Terre area, without you guys, we would have never made it there! I know you guys will be amazing when you open your own hotels some day!

I have never had a more accommodating host. Nadina pointed out all the great spots on the map, suggested day trips and even helped with any reservations that needed to be made. She has a can do attitude and will help in any way she can. The hostel itself is in a great location next to the train station, and a short walk from the Duomo. Facilities are great, beds are nice (also with lights and outlets at each bed as well as lockers). I cannot recommend enough. Thanks for everything Nadina!

This is a small hostel but completely worth the price: rooms are spacious and clean, bathrooms are shared and are also very clean. And all the place is nicely decorated. The location is excellent, if you arrive by train to santa maria novella you can get to the hostel in 3 minutes. Nadina, the manager, is very kind. she really takes care of everything you'll need. Breakfast is ok. Open wifi in the rooms. The best hostel I've been in Italy.

In a word, perfect. This was the best hostel I've stayed in. Nadina and her boyfriend are so warm and generous and friendly that I was actually sad to leave. Every morning they prepare coffee and juice and pastries for you and they actually bring it to you. All of the places they recommended were fantastic, especially Gupta pizza. The beds were warm and comfortable and they provide you with a towel and a padlock for the lockers free of charge. It's those little things that make it a great place.
