I was extremely dissapointed with the quality of hostel. The staff was terrible. My room was not even cleaned! I found hair on the bathroom floor from the previous tenant. Not bad - great central location, good staff, BUT- the ceiling of the ensiute leaked so I got wet using the toilet, and it was a bit run down. After budget options of Hong Kong and Macau this hostel is blessing. May be it is not typical backpacker’s place and little English is spoken but I can not rate it less than 100%. Staff is very friendly and helpful; hostel is conveniently located, not far (5-7 min) from subway station.After budget options of Hong Kong and Macau this hostel is blessing. It's quite OK. Plastic sheet under the sheets, you feel it when you lay down. Kind of run down, but OK for the price. Not at all a backpacker place, more of a standard Chinese hotel. THE ADDRESS IS WRONG!! took me ages to find because wrong address and also completely different name in chinese. If i were you I would get a cheap Bing Guan nearer Lao Jie. Just get a metro to Lao Jie and theres a few Bing Guans (small hotel) along the street.
