We were given a big room during our first stay and was told that it was specially for us, however, after our shopping trips, we were told to move to another room for their business opportunities and the 2nd room was too small for 4 people. I told the owner about and was eventually move to MY MY II which was slightly better, however, during of 3 nights stay, the aircon was dripping with water and was not fixed up to the day we checked out. Could find better hostel at the cheaper price.

Staff at this hostel were uninterested at best, rude more often. One lady of staff (who had not talked to me beforehand) handed me the phone once with no explanation; I talked to a man who seemed to want to book a room. After finishing the call, the lady was only annoyed at my not taking a flight number from him. On checking out, we were not given our passports, which we realised down the road. My boyfriend ran back to get them, but found that they were in an unlocked box on the side.

Good place to stay for a while. Located in the central of the city. Easy to go by foot to the market and not far from the airport, just VND140,000. One stop service to upcountry.

We liked the location as it was tucked away and quiet but still just a few meters from the main street. The main guy who worked there was very friendly and organised our tours. Internet was good and shower was hot. The room was a little dingey but was clean. Some of the locals were very noisy (may have been the guys mum!?) All in all a good stay and we would recommend the Chu Chi tunnels.

Well it is a good place, and the reception guy they have hired (the owners live right there in the lobby...) is wonderful. Ver soon you will feel like being greeted by an old friend, when returning there... But. They close the place down really early - so if you want to enjoy some nightlefe you might not feel so comfortable... They close it down like a shell - lowering electric doors like those in the garages. Unfortunatley this is the only entrance... I just hoped there would be no fire...

We arrived late in Saigon and had to go through lots of small streets in order to find the hotel. We got quite surprised as it was not really as we remembered booking it. Fortunately it was close to the place we had to go the day after.

Well what can I say.. This place is truly a great find.. We stayed at both My My 1 and My My 2. But My My 2 is brand new, modern, clean, and the same location of My My 1, it just 150 metres away from My My1. Both of them are great location in backpacker area and night life and all staff are nice, helpful with smiley faces. That's why this is our second times we returned to stay here. I'd recommend it to all of you.

this is the best hostel i've had. hats off to Kim for taking care of our accommodation. it is along the alleys in Pham Ngu Lao that when the bus I took from Cambodia arrived, I just took my stuff and walked back to the same hostel. I'll definitely stay in this hostel again once I get back to vietnam. :)

Good value for money, the view was a little strange (on to the lift shaft). However the staff were firendly and helpful. Breakfast cost $1 extra (peanuts) and the laundry service was efficient. The room was very clean and the aircon was efficient once it got going-which is essential in humid Hanoi. The hotel was well located for the city centreand next to a park so pleasant enough during the day. However at night there were a few dubious characters in the street outside.

This hostel is briliant, great for couples or people wanting cheap yet great hotel style accommodation that is quieter than a regular hostel cos it run by family. The staff were so helpful and friendly and we was so impressed with the room. Travelling around the area was made easy and pleasant with the help and directions given by the lady owner. Definately a place to return to.
