I have stayed at this hostel several times now, and have enjoyed every stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the bathrooms are always clean and the atmosphere is very friendly.

Nice place! Was easy to arrange cu-chi tunnels trip here. Not much of a common area really, but I'd still recommend staying here.

T ,his hotel was OK - To be honest we were not too happy about the staff until our last day when Kim (or Kym) came back to work after a holiday - What a difference 1 person can make to a place. nyway apart from that it is a good, clean hostel with good rooms in a great central location.

Be prepared to be moved to the MyMyArthouse II hotel, tucked away deeply in the alleys. There is no communal area, the dormroom on the bottomfloor is near the entrance, so either bring earplugs or you'll be woken up at 6 in the morning by loudly speaking staff. Staff also kept playing music till 1:30AM without any regard for paying customers,. The dormroom in MyMyArthouse II is brand new, clean and has decent beds.

Price for pick up AirPort was not what we aggreed The old lady in charge told us, just after arriving at 11pm at the gh, that we're spending the night on another gh : her sister's ! It was not what we paid for ! The room was very very small like a closet, without window and when we complain the staff was not Nice at all, telling us they don't care cause we already paid ! Very desapointed, ask for looking at the room before paying it, we usually do it but we were very tired after 16h of flight.

Bright clean rooms, although if your on the top fllor like I was you will prob wish there was a lift! The owners are lovely and very friendly and helpful, I left and went back! Only critisism is the lack of reciepts for bus bookings etc, which did cause a slight problem once although it was easily sorted.

Great place to stay! Family owned, so it feels quaint. The rooms are great and a good value. Book your tips with them directly for a great value. 1 Day Mekong Delta trip is excellent! Only thing, is this business is run on pencil and paper bookkeeping by the old mom, so keep track of how much you owe because their booking system is outdated and has discrepancies. The son, Heu is awesome! Do everything through him!

Great location, only a short walk to anything you'd want to. Shower was awkward to use over the toilet and aircon had to be turned off as it dripped but there was a fan. Good value for money.

Staff are helpful and attentive. Gave good advice regarding moving around during Tet festival. Rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable. Aircon, television and lockers in the dorm I stayed in were in good working order. Breakfast is an add on, and is quite nice, but there are several options within 1min walk. The location is good - central to the backpacker area, and the drop off / pick up area for most bus routes. They offer cheap tickets, but as always shop around if a dollar matters to you.

Good place to stay for the money. Pretty much like any other guest house in downtown Vietnam. They are good at pointing you around. The only downside is you have to wake a family member to come in past 11pm at night, but this is due to security. I would say a good value for the money, and you can't really beat the location!

Good hostel, quite a climb up 6 flights on stairs to the dorm. The dorm itself is really clean, air-conned & a good en-suite. It is very close to everything! I booked the 2 day Mekong tour to Phnom Penh & it was very misleading. Only spent around 3 hours on a boat for the whole 2 days. Get the bus to PP!

Owner Comment (Show)
Thanks for your comment Christ, You rated us a good rate, it means: you liked to stay with us. About the stolen money, can you trust that story or not if tourist choose to stay in backpacker area? it means: they don't have much money. And this is modern life, noone travel with a lot of cash like this, they always use credit/debit cards or travellers cheque to travel over the world to withdraw cash in anywhere. And 1 more thing is she booked a bed in dorm room not a private room. About this case, that's a women, she booked a bed in dorm 6 beds, that day our door lock was broken and the night time noone repair, we had to wait untill next morning to call someone to fix it, it had repaird immediately (only 1 night). Then next morning. that woman came down stair and tell us her money had stolen 2000 Eur. First we supprised, then we thought, her stuff she have to take care by herself not us cos in that dorm room everyone have their own safety box. How can it happend if with big money she should put in the safety box? She complain to every guests there and she asked us to give her back 2000 Eur. We refused to give her that money cos she didn't give receptionist that money to take care and tell our receptionist that money is how much,...so...it's not our responsibility and also how we know that she really have 2000 Eur or not? Or she just made up her story? Then I told her to go the police with us, but then she said she want to book bus ticket with us to Cambodia now?!?, the bus ticket only cost 12 USD < 2000 Eur. Then after that 10 mins she gone. If someone had big money stolen, they can easily to go somewhere else immediately? Why she didn't love her money and go to police station with us? Hope everyone can realise it and understand our situation and what we did is right and we didn't believe in her story.

During my stay there many people had problems with the workers over money- it was either stolen or they charged extra. Even i didn't get deposit money back.
