The staff is very unfriendly. No common areas. No coffe, no tea, hot water. No turistic info. Only 2 toillet for everybody. For that price there is a lot of better prices.

The stuff wasn't really organized when I arrived, they wanted to charge me for a room that I haven't booked and my room wasn't ready even though I told them what time I'm arriving. The beds in there are broken and you don't even get a blanket, not even on request. The stuff can't really speak English so they can't really help you out and the tours they offer are more expensive than anywhere else I asked.

They overcharged me despite I had the printed booking with me. When I asked for receipt they said next day they will clear it with the manager. Of course there wasn't any manager and somehow my receipt got "lost". When I asked for another one they refused it and wanted to kick me out of the place. After an hour arguing someone finally could write another receipt.

He take me to wrong my hostel but same name with My Lao Capsule Bed , may be name of both hostel same. So my opinion is u should have a small map of the location hostel. Thks

I would hate to give this hostel a terrible review if they didn't deserve it, so I will tell you my story and you can decide. I found the hostel and it looked nothing as it did in the photographs posted on this website. I showed the man the pictures on hostelworld and he told me it was their OTHER hostel. After 2 hours of searching, I came to the conclusion that there wasn't another MyLaoHome, so I gave up and went elsewhere. Don't expect to see in person what you see online!

You get what you pay for. First night no toilet paper. Refused to hand out second sheet. Helped with airport transfer back though. LP is worth investing in nicer place. There are privates in other guesthouses for 60k,but not on Hostelworld.

It was the worst hostel i've ever seen. totally different rooms from the pics in hostel world. The male staff was unbelievably rude and impolite, even he insulted me. I recommend every girl not to stay this hostel. very unclean and smelly room and rude staff which would ruin your trip. I even got feeling that the staff sexually harrassed me a bit. I left immediately this hostel when I found out the status of room and had a little conversation with the staff. So find out other hostel.

Cleaner bathroom and shower expected with more efficient ventilation and light in the dorm and lockers should be provided free of charge. There is only a lounge across the road but not at the hostel There are no facilities for non smokers to relax.

This hostel has two locations across town from each other, so make sure you walk to the correct one. However, they will drive you to the correct one if you don't. There is no breakfast included, and no lockers. They charge to store your luggage which all of the other hostels I've been to will do for free. The staff will make you wait for the laptop while they finish the youtube video they watch and will not help with any inquiries you may have.
