Loved this place. I fell in love with jaisalmer and this place made the experience so much better and wish I stayed longer. Staff are fantastic, food is great, wifi is by far the fastest wifi ive had in india. The terrace on the roof is the maddest place to chill out in the day and night. I even fell asleep here. Only thing it lacked was lockers in the dorms, but otherwise fine. Do the camel safari n sleep under the stars! !

It was the most pleasant place that I have been in my trip to India. The hostel is convenient located and is just maybe 10 minutes walking from the Fort entrance. The owner is a such great person and take care about his guests. I definetely recommended it.

The staff at Mystic are what made my experience so great. Ashraf- the owner- is an incredibly generous and welcoming person, and his staff is equally lovely. The camel safari was fun and such a unique experience! Loved the Bollywood movies at night. The room could have been slightly cleaner, but on the whole Mystic is the place to be in Jaisalmer.

Was our best hostel stay in India. Great value, hot shower, rooftop looking over the Fort, great social atmosphere and the staff are very accommodating. We cancelled our last night at short notice and they were fine with it and helped arrange our travel onwards. Fantastic hostel!

Mystic Jaisalmer is a great place to stay, so I would suggest you do! It's one of very few places in India where you get a proper laid-back-backpacker feel in the place, and it also has a dorm! The staff is terrific, and the only thing that needs work is the kitchen.

I was very happy at Mystic. Staff went out of their way to help, the restaurant was decent, and I really enjoyed the camel trip I booked through them. Felt the room was a good value for the money, the location was an easy walk to the fort, and they picked me up for free at the railway station. Definitely recommend!

So clean and location is great (walking distance to all that city has to offer). Rooftop terrace offers breathtaking view of the fort. The food is really delicious and always fresh prepared. Camel safari is a must!. Best part of all is the stuff. They are so friendly and nothing seams too hard for them. Ashraf is a warm person and he goes out of his way to make his guests happy. You really feel welcome and valued. It's by far the best place I've ever stayed in India. Thanks for a wanderfull stay

Easily the nicest hostel I've ever been to in India. It's definitely not the cheapest, but if you can afford spending a bit more, even just this one time, it's worth it. The private rooms are absolutely spectacular. The staff seemed ok, if not really interested in talking with me. And can be a challenge getting their attention in the restaurant. But if you want to feel like you're really on vacation, stay here. Bollywood movies every night on the big screen.

This was by far the best hostel we stayed in in India. The staff were absolutely superb, rooms were spotless and we enjoyed the Bollywood films on the roof terrace in the evenings. We also opted to go on their overnight camel safari which was very good and good value (but there was no hard sell so you didn't have to go with them if you didn't want to). We'd definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it to others.

A very nice place to stay in Jaisalmer. The best part of this hostel is the staff. They help you with everything and are extremely friendly and nice. We were three girls sleeping in the dorm. We also booked a Camel Safari through the hostel and were very pleased. The safari was well organized and we felt safe at all times. The hostel is 5 minutes away from the fort by foot. The only minus is the food, it was not good at all.

The owner is a switched on cool guy and knows what foreign backpackers need. Once the creases are ironed out it should get a high rating :) Cleanliness was good except for the awful kitchen, with a high window used by a local pair of pigeons, for example I witnessed them feasting on the cooked rice. Banana-Nutella pancake is simple and great. Some high season profiteering on jeep tours for the desert festival, hopefully an isolated incident. Reviewer is a seasoned traveller in India.

Free pick up and drop off from the train station is the point! Staff are efficient and helpful, the building is relatively new, but a little far from the fort.

stayed at Mystic Jaisalmer for 3 nights total this past week. In all I traveled in India for 15 days and this was my favorite place to stay. I stayed in the dorm rooms but they were clean and comfortable. It''s a very safe place to stay and very well located for the single female traveler. Every night they show Bollywood movies on the rooftop and it's such a great way to come together with other travelers. The movies are great. The food at the restaurant is delicious. I recommend the Matter Paneer especiall

This place is the bomb!! Loved it, the staff, the welcome chai, the views from the restaurant, the fact that it's clean...and the Bollywood movie! I actually slept in a tent on the roof, maybe it was expensive compared with what you get for a room for the same price however I would do it again. Definitely going back.

Ashraf is a great owner and host and is very kind. He whole staff will go to great lengths to ensure you enjoy your stay. The rooms are amazingly comfortable and the giant beds are a great way to crash after a long day; they're so comfortable! Everything else was great, including the food and the view from the rooftop restaurant. I would highly recommend this place!

The place to stay in Jaisalmer! I was there when it had only opened for a couple months, but it ran like a seasoned establishment. Ali is a super chill dude, great to talk to, and his staff were likewise, willing to accommodate anything you asked. Taxi service to the train station, and their camel safari connections were reliable. The cafe shows a Bollywood movies every night. It's a quick hop to everywhere in town -- the Fort, Lake Gadisar, and Sunset Point.

We have to give a HUGE shout out to Shokat Ali - if it hadn't been for him we probably wouldn't have stayed. He was very welcoming and helpful to us and our friends. Truly a wonderful representation of the staff at this hotel. Camel safari well organized - clean food prep. Only downfall is that our guides were kids who were not friendly when we gave them toys instead of money as a tip. Don't like supporting them out of school, either. Avoid the dorms - they don't have doors.
