The water temperature on the showers wasn't as hot as it should.

We stayed with our young daughter. Facilities and room were excellent.

The location and the room were perfect. We enjoyed our stay there. The only remarks we have is that The wifi was 't working properly. We also had some ants in our room but the room itself was clean.

Good location Good Breakfast and very clean and big room

Nice hostel for one night. Very good location. Easy to park just in front. Very calm there is not so much going on there. Close to main town, coimbra is a nice little city. The only big problem was that we got a 4bed dorm and all the beds were full of little ants! Clean common areas and good breakfast.

Showers are only in the basement and get dirty very fast. Upper bunk sounded like it would break soon.

First of all we had ants in our room and in the xommon kitchen, other guests were also complaining about ants. We were offeed another room for the next night, which was ok, but we found out that the hostel didn't resolve the problem because our former room with ants was given to some new guests! I think that is cheating. Secondly, during the breakfast they have ran out of products, so during 20 minutes there was nothing at all, even no coffee! There were also some problems with electricity!

We had a very nice stay, although Coimbra is not the most interesting city of Portugal ;-)

Very nice hostel with a nice breakfast! We enjoyed our stay.

The room I got was extremely small and somehow they managed to squeeze five beds in there, including two fold out beds that were behind doors and barely had room to let someone walk between them. Otherwise the kitchen was nice and breakfast was good. The lockers provided don't come with a key so you need to bring your own lock.

Cute little place. Really nice and tidy. We had a 4 bed mixed dorm but there was Only the 2 of us which was nice! However the ants all on the room was a bit of a problem. They went into the beds and also our suitcases. Near the uni so lots of cheap places to drink and eat!

The staff was helpful in a way. The WiFi stopped working in tge rom and despite my and other guests complaints, nothing was done to fix it. Other than that, it was a nice stay.

Great private rooms away from the touristy centre but close to the various buildings you might like to see. Downside is the communal bathrooms feel old and damp and you're not sure if you're any cleaner after a shower. Not somewhere to meet people but nice for a quiet night or two.
