I don't understand all the negative reviews of this place. I loved it. The owner was charming and talkative as long as you follow her rules. The place was a little cluttered, but the rooms were spacious and comfortable and they even made authentic Japanese style breakfast if you wanted. Very close to Nagasaki station and even closer to a tram stop, it was just a little difficult to find when we arrived at night, but after asking a drunk salaryman we found it. Very charming and authentic.

A family runs this hostel, they are very nice but cannot really speak english. Doors are closed at 11 o'clock. (no keys)
