Friendly staff but very dead. There was no common meeting area that I was aware of. I slept and left early the next day.

This hostel is close to Nagasaki Station and the tram lines, has only 3 beds to a room (mine was very clean), and the owner is super-friendly and helpful. She had my bed all made up for me when I arrived, gave me a tourist map and brochure, and even invited some us for plum wine and snacks. By the way, I didn\'t have to choose a specific shower time, just whether or not I wanted to shower in the morning or evening, which seems reasonable.

Place was bit hard to find, help if there was a map. Reasonable price for location.

This hostel has a couple of restrictions such as the evening curfew, daytime lockout and set shower times, but for me it was no problem. I guess if you are someone who would like to go out and party this is not the place for you, but if you like a quiet little place that's clean, in a good location and with really friendly owners, go to Ebisu. It has a nice homey feel because you stay in the house of the owners and they have really tried hard to make it comfortable. I enjoyed staying here.
