The owner Paula was lovely, very welcoming, offered us dinner on arrival! It was very clean and we were made to feel like we could help ourselves to anything we needed. There was no rush to leave. It was very relaxed and refreshing. A fantastic hostel, I will be returning!

Namaste Lodge is a fine place for weary travelers tired of the familiar. This place exudes friendliness, comfort, and openness. The matron of the Lodge is extraordinarily helpful in the lodge and encouraging her guests to fully enjoy Belfast . She helps with arranging tours and such and when venues are offering unique experiences she encourages her guests to attend. The house has wonderful art displayed throughout. The art tells the story of the matrons world travels. A first class experience!

Great hostel. Small, clean, with nice kitchen. Enjoyed my stay immensely. The owner was welcoming and friendly (she even made soup for us and provided tea, coffee and bread - all free). I will return again. Thanks!

I stayed with Paula, the host, for two Days. It's really nice and quiet so you can rest from a long day on your feet. A great thing is that everything you need is just around the corner pubs, supermarket, bank, off-license store etc If I visit Belfast again I will probably stay with Paula again.

It was a fine place to stay, but the landlady kept turning the heater off during WINTER so it was always cold, which was very uncomfortable. I don't recommend.

Owner Comment (Show)
Obvioiusly wasn't staying at the same place as everyone else. Some people say they are too hot so I tell people to turn heating on or off as need be as he could have done. It has kitchen facilities with all sorts of condiments, oils etc there for use of visitors, so its great for cooking. As a combo BnB hostel it has benefits from both kinds of accommodation. I have plenty of people who come back to stay again. Ah well sorry you had such a bad time.
