We loved our stay at Namaste Lodge! Paula was absolutely amazing! You feel at home when you stay here and you do not feel uncomfortable about anything. She stocks the kitchen with food for breakfast so you can get up and make it on your own time. She told us that this is the type of place she would have wanted when she traveled, so she truly knows how to treat travelers. If you get a chance to stay here, DO IT!

Should not be listed under bed and breakfasts, breakfast is not really provided. The bathroom and kitchen, shared by all guests, were grubby and not cleaned the whole time we were there. The bedroom was dusty, and our bed was not made until we asked, many hours after arriving, for it to be made. The mattress did not fit the bed frame, and the bed actually fell apart when sat on. The owner allows the dog upstairs and into the guest bedrooms, this should have been made clear in the description.

Owner Comment (Show)
These people stayed for 5 nights, talked with me most days and never complained until the last day when they wanted a reduction. I could have sorted all their problems had they asked and I think they just wanted it cheaper which considering they were paying £15 each for a private room with free wifi, laundry facilities, free towels, and as much as they could eat for breakfast doesnt leave much to reduce. Breakfast is self serviceall morning including eggs, yoghurt, various kinds of bread, or toast, lots of spreads and jams, fruit juice and tea and coffee all day as well. Often they didn't get up till late and in a regular b and b would have not got anything after 10am. Most people prefer this flexible anytime breakfast approach. I advertise in hostelworld, not as a b n b. Breakfast is a bonus! Many people love the dogs (see other comments) and these 2 expressed no objection (as other have done and this has been dealt with as have all other problems). Some have taken dogs out for walks. As for cleanliness of course it was cleaned! Lots of people have commented that it was really clean. A postcard commenting on their wonderful stay and the hostel and my dogs arrived 2 days from others who had gone to some musty other hostel, so I dont really know what these people expected to get for the fantatic price of £30 for double room with designer sheets and original art, but it certainly doesn't tally with the comments of others. Perhaps anyone who knows of a better deal could let me know!

Paula is a caring and helpful host. Our room was large, airy and clean. We enjoyed our stay and have no problems recommending it.Its an easy bus ride to the centre of the city. Unfortunately, it falls just outside of the area of the free city map,but is still easy enough to find.

I had a wonderful stay at Namaste Lodge. Paula definitely makes it a home away from home. The rooms are a nice size and guests have full access to a kitchen. Paula also cooks up some tasty homemade meals for a small fee (much cheaper than going out for a meal in Belfast). When I was there she made delicious spare ribs and chili. Complimentary breakfast is also included in your stay and it's not the typical toast and tea that's offered at other hostels. I'd definitely stay here again.

The accomodation was great, and the host was what made the lodge all the better. It had a very homey feel and everything was so welcoming. Loved Pippa the dog and Paula was beyond better than anything I could have expected. I will be staying there agian.

Really nice, clean and comfortable stay. Host is very welcoming and helpful. Only downside is it is quite far on foot from the city centre but still worthwhile.

Nice, friendly, talkative lady with 2 dogs lives there. Large, clean kitchen. Around the corner an amazing off licence with a fabulous selection of ales. Quiet, safe neighborhood, walking distance from the city centre.
