We provide a free VIETNAM VISA service for our guests (you pay for the cost of the visa only).

===NANNING - HALONG BAY - HANOI DIRECT TOUR (600RMB) =====

(leaving Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat only)

Travellers can get off at any point on the tour, either in Halong Bay or Hanoi, to continue with their own travels (costs is the same if you get off in Hanoi or Halong Bay)

DAY 1 - Bus to DongXing/MongCai Border and Halong Bay in Vietnam, 1 night hotel in Halong Bay (Vietnam 3 star hotel)

DAY 2 - 4 hour boat tour on Halong Bay, Bus to Hanoi, 1 night hotel in Hanoi (Vietnam 3 star hotel)

DAY 3 - Sightseeing Hanoi includes lunch and if you want, afternoon tour bus back to Halong Bay (last stop)

(tour is inclusive of transport, all meals, hotel accommodation and Chinese tour guide only (no English speaking tour guide))

Additional costs for travellers who want to go back over the Chinese border.
===VIETNAM VISAS===

We provide a free VIETNAMESE VISA service for our guests (you pay for the cost of the visa only). Please provide your passport and two passport photos the night before. The cost of the visas are:

- 480 RMB for three business days
- 550RMB for two business days
- 680RMB same day service.

The Vietnamese Consulate is only open on business days from Monday to Friday. They are not open during public holidays. Visas start the day after you receive your visas from the consulate.

===BUSES TO VIETNAM====

Buses to Hanoi from Landong Bus Station leaves at 7.40am, 8.30am & 10am (6-8 hours, costs about 150RMB).

Buses to Hanoi from the Nanning Train Station leaves at 7.20am & 7.40am (6-8 hours, costs about 150RMB).

===TRAIN TO VIETNAM===

Leaves at 5pm and overnight to Hanoi, costs depends on season (12-14 hours)

===TOURS TO DETIAN WATERFALLS====

We offer 1 & 2 Day tours to Detian Waterfalls all year round. Detian Waterfalls is the largest waterfall in Asia, and second largest transnational waterfall in the world. Pizzas, fish and chips and Chinese food can be ordered and delivered to the hostel. The hostel sells beer and Australian and South American wines.

We are a small hostel in Nanning offering a pleasant homestay environment for our guests. Our rates are competitive when compared to other hotels in the area for what we offer including, private rooms with their own attached toilets and bathrooms, and dorms with bathrooms and toilets shared by only a few people instead of a crowd. Our rooms and bathrooms are cleaned everyday and we also provide free internet, free laundry, free drinking water, bed linens, and free towels.

***(Note: We are not a party hostel. Partying can be done in the bars just outside the gates of the hostel.)

We are located in Min Zhu Da Dao (Min Zhu Ave), behind Yang Guang 100 Apartments (Sunshine 100), a prominent landmark building in Nanning known by most taxi drivers and the local people.

If staying at our hostel, please do not forget to DOWNLOAD MAPS in Chinese and English from the booking confirmation email, to ensure that you have no difficulty finding the hostel if you intend to catch a bus or taxi or walk to the hostel.

It is essential that all guests PRINT (in landscape) or DOWNLOAD this map as cities in China are not that simple to navigate, especially its backstreets.

(NOTE: some of our customers photograph the map from the computer screen to their mobile phone or digital camera. However, please ensure that the taxi drivers and yourself can read the Chinese characters particularly to Yang Guang 100 (阳光100) and the map layout to Ou Jing Ting Yuan apartments).

Our hostel rooms are quiet as it is located on the penthouse floor and there are no factories or small workshops around the area. All rooms have a view of the city and some of our private rooms have large ensuite bathrooms.

Note:

The hostel rooms are cleaned daily. Rooms have western toilets where you do not have to throw toilet paper in the waste paper baskets as is common in many old Chinese hotels and houses. The hostel is located in a modern apartment building in Nanning. Smoking is only allowed outside in the balconies.

-------------LOCATION----------------

We are located in one of the best addresses in Nanning, a private, secure and quiet gated community with a pleasant garden but still in the heart of Nanning city. Our hostel is conveniently located between the long-distance bus and train stations about 10-40 min by city bus (depending on traffic).

We are close to the Guangxi museum (10 min walk), Science museum (10 min walk), Nan Hu Park and Lake with a variety of teahouses and cafes (15 min walk), the food night market (5 min bus or 20 min walk), and the Vietnamese and Thai consulates (5 min bus or 20 min walk). Popular drinking and dance night spots, Soho, La Neste and other bars, are located conveniently across the road from the hostel for those who want to spend a late night out. Several coffee shops, tea houses, Chinese restaurants, and a German Beer Bar are also located in front or next to the hostel for a choice of both Chinese and Western food. Food from Chinese or Western style restaurants can be conveniently delivered to the hostel if you wish to eat in, or you can make your own food in the kitchen common room.
