Showers are a bit far across the yard. In morning they open at eight which can be a bt late for some people (hno access to hot watter before that time). Somewhat dirty showers. Clean rooms and toilets.

Loved the free bus map. The staff and the hooks in showers were extremely helpful.

The hostel is very clean with a pleasant cosy atmosphere. I just found a little bit uncomfortable the showers because of their old, rusted doors, and for the lack of proper bases for towels and personal objects.

This hostel was in the perfect location in Nanjing, it was extremely convenient and affordable. The staff was a bit unfriendly though, I felt as though I was burdening them every time I asked a question. There was nothing else negative about the hostel though, overall a great experience in Nanjing.

Please check the hooks in the showers, because some of them are missing and you can not hang your clothes while showering.

The location is good, not far away from main sceneries by taxi, though it's litte bit far away from metro station. The rooms are clean and the bathroom has hot enough water.

This hostel offered me great value for money and a very supportive group of staff who helped me with many practical tasks and gave good advice on other matters such as proper color choices for a Chinese wedding! When I return for the wedding the Jasmine Hostel will be my home base.

The hostel itself seemed nice. It was adequately clean and was decently located. But the staff were incredibly unfriendly and unhelpful, which tainted my opinion of the place.

Jasmine hostel is really well located for someone that wants to be close to Nanjing University gulou campus. The area is nice next to the campus, lots of restaurants and cafes. The hostel is old, and really cold. I waited to take a shower until I got to the next hostel because the shower is some where in a small house in the garden outside.

Great staff, overall positive experience. First-time visitors must be sure to map out the location beforehand, because the hostel can be hard to find (cantankerous taxi drivers may be unwilling to drive into the alleyway and search for the exact location, which is terrible at night and with lots of luggage). Main detraction: dirty pillows (looked like it had not been washed in months). Facilities overall were alright, though.

Staffs were good and helpful. Location is far from subway station and train station. Room is OK but shared bathroom is out of dormitory building.

The 6 bed female dorm was very clean and provided linens. The room was very cold at night, but that's true all over Southern China during the winter. Warm showers, nice lounge with wifi. The subway stop was very inconvenient, but there's a bus stop 2 minutes walk from the front door. Overall, a really nice place.

I personally thought this hostel was great. However, my husband, who feels the cold intensely, was totally unprepared for its being unheated during the day. It's probably not ideal for some people in the winter. We have no reservations however about the cleanliness, friendliness of the staff or any other aspects. It has an excellent reception area and common room. We especially appreciated the reception staff booking us a taxi for 5.00 a.m.

This hostel was not too bad, it is about 20mins walk to the Metro and was in a nice area near Nanjing University. Staff were efficient yet not as friendly as they could have been. Even though I would recommend staying here, the twin room we had had VERY poor heating and this is unacceptable in the middle of Winter.

the hostel was ok! There is just a little problem with the bathrooms...t if you want to have a shower you have to pass trough the garden and there is no door in the bathroom building...so with 0 degrees is not that funny! and also the inside bathroom is really cold with just cold water! apart from that clean and nice

The hostel is located in a center area where you can access to the attraction places very quick ! Jasmin is a western old house which still keeping the atmosphere of the old time ! A bit about the self services facilities e.g. the cooking kitchen : it could be fantastic if we can cook atleast an instance noodle or even make a coffee without "scanning" from receptionist name Nikki! In opposite, Chou is very nice and kind girl!
