So good was this hostel I stayed here nine nights. The hostel is owned and managed by two great guys, and along with the friendly staff, they make it a very enjoyable stay. The beds in the dorms were excellent; wooden and sturdy. The kitchen is clean and the common room is always full of great characters. The location is a ten minute walk from Red Square and is very close to some great bars and nightclubs. Would definitely recommend Napoleon Hostel. Keep up the good work.

Moscow is a beautiful place... but to make your travel more fun and interesting you HAVE to go to Napoleon Hostel!! There is a special friendly atmosphere! You\'ll feel there as at home!!!Staff is extremely kind and always ready to help you! Rooms are very big and also safe, the living room is very nice and comfortable and the kitchen is quite small but there they have everything. I spent 4nights in Napoleon hostel and I have met a lot of people from US, Norway, UK, Siberia...

It's ok, nothing special. But it might be the best you can get in Moscow.   Read Owner Comments

We enjoyed our stay at the hostel, staff were friendly (take some obscure coins if you have them for the collector!) and showers really good. perfect location for red square etc and MuMu cafe round the corner was very handy

very good location, 2 minutes to red square and exactly where you want to be. It's a fairly nice hostel which is pretty expensive, especially with the visa validating and laundry but you have little choice other than use them. the door is always open which is both a good and a bad thing but saying that i did always feel safe leaving my stuff there.

Perfect hostel! Cheap beer, helpful staff, clean and a great friendly atmosphere. The staff even go out drinking with you!

really nice hostel in a great location. I found the hostel even better than expected Our room (6-bed female doorm) was nice, but the 10 or 12-bed rooms can be a bit crowded. The hostel seems to be very professional (they had loeads of different guidebooks to consult, lots of information on their walls...) which was nice, but a lot of things were also quite expensive (laundry etc). What I didn't like is that they want every1 to register their visa with them, which is incredibly expensive (20USD

Location is excellent - a good base to see the major sights and very close to the metro station. There are just 2 toilets and showers for the whole hostel which is not enough. The place is also falling apart - the tap in the bathroom almost came off in my hand, the shower rail fell down and the matresses are old (springs are coming through) Not comfortable! However, the staff are friendly and helpful and the hostel is kept clean. Value for money, you probably wont do better in Moscow.   Read Owner Comments
