Well, as all the others have wrote, perfect for first/last night in Japan. But you can also concider to stay for two nights and catch one of the bikes for cruising around. it's worth! And if you have no eclipse of the sun to view, you can still see the big planes comming in. Great!

SUMMARY People stay here because they are in transit to/from airport. Not a good place to have fun/relax PROS -2000 JPY/night -Free rides to/from airport. Bus at airport. Taxi ~3000 JPY -Owner speaks Eng & Jap -Free cabinets w/locks. Fit a school backpack. -Free white bread, jam -Free wifi CONS -Far from downtown Narita, restaurants, bars, and nightlife. -Attracts bohemian "roughing it" types. Met many disrespectful people who didn't care that I was trying to sleep. -No locks on building

The free pickup service from Narita airport is a major plus here, as finding your way by bus/train after an international flight is a bear. Men's restroom is upstairs, women's along with the shower is downstairs, and the stairwell is outside which can make going to the bathroom in the dark interesting depending on where your room is. Very clean/neat and straightforward otherwise. Would use again!

Im still currently in Japan, walking from Narita to Hokkaido.Staying at Narita Airport Hostel was probably the best start on journey I could have hoped for. Mr.Yama is an amazing person that came and got me from the airport, borrowed me a bicycle and helped me in my trip in many other ways. For example when I had walked four hours on my first day I saw a man I somehow recognized. It was Mr.Yama on a bicycle coming to return my toothbrush and he also brought a bag with different lunchitems for me.

Yamo-san is a great host. His hostel is the perfect place to stay after a late flight into Narita or a place to sleep before an early flight out the next morning. He is helpful and full of information for travel to other regions in Japan.
