Nashville Downtown Hostel Reviews

There's no lockers in your room, and they charge you to use the ones one the second floor. I didn't trust one of the girls in my room and not having a locker near by didn't ease that. They also charge for everything they can, holding luggage for 2 hrs in a room, towels, computer use. I've never been somewhere where they take money for EVERYTHING. Also not even breakfast provided. And 20 something yr old boys cleaning the bathrooms- not very clean. If it weren't for the location, it would suck

Perfect location for downtown Nashville The rules (a page like a teancy agreement!) aren't really enforced in the quiet areas at night. There were people running around at 4am in the quiet zones and the staff did nothing about it. The communal showers weren't very clean and the water pressure on the 4th floor is rubbish. More like a drip then a shower! Other than that this is one of the better hostels I've stayed in!

Very nice big hostel, the downstairs common room is good for hanging out, socialising and playing the various musical instruments lying around.. Always people about, especially staff if you needed something. Excellent location

A good place to discover the downtown and to explore the city!

This place is awesome! The staff are friendly and the location couldn't be better!

The downtown Hostel in nashville is the perfect starting point to explore the city. The staff is mire than helpful and if you stick around you might be able to hear some artists perform in the common room. Highly recommend that Hostel!

Rooms were pretty warm at night, but otherwise, great!

I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the hostel, the friendliness of the staff, and the precautions set in place to allow people to actually sleep in peace rather than be constantly awakened by revellers. I loved that musical instruments were available in the lounge along with computers and TVs. Fantastic location! I have been hoping for years that Nashville would finally get a hostel and I am not at all disappointed.

Wonderful service, coolest layout ever

For the most part I was quite happy with my stay here. The building was spacious with plenty of areas to chill out. The main common room area was a good place for everyone to have some pre-drinks to get to know each other before going out. Two gripes: 1) you pay for EVERYTHING. I understand not providing breakfast but would it kill to leave some milk for tea and coffee. Maybe have a fridge for left overs so people can grab free stuff (milk etc). 2) the air-con sounded like a jet fighter

Great hostel in an ideal location.

Couldn't fault the location, staff or character if you tried. Every room is named after a different country singer (we were in Dolly Parton), and the staff make you feel right at home almost instantly (challenge them to fooseball!). The lounge areas are perfect and comfortable (and come with guitars, but be warned - there's always some great talent there that makes the beginners like me a bit intimidated!). Go to Mike's Ice Cream round the corner - it doesn't disappoint.

When we arrived we were disappointed as the receptionist wasn't very friendly and it took us about 20 min to check in due to his slowness. Additionally he wanted 4$ from us in cash as a deposit for the key card, which was super annoying as we hadn't any money with us besides the C-card. This should be simply charged on the card if not returned... but the rooms where super tidy and we really liked the common room as well as all the quiet zones!

I've never stayed in a cleaner hostel. The only downside is that they have a lot of rules, but that is also an upside because it makes it very safe and quiet when you want it to be. The staff is super friendly, and the hostel is right in the center of the downtown area and near a little park. This is the only place is stay in nashville

Fantastic location, excellent value.

I loved the location and the friendly staff. The bathrooms were kind of gross and my blanket had hair all over it. I thought it was kind of expensive if you are traveling with more than one person, I probably will just split a hotel room between the three of of next time. Great place to go if traveling alone and want to meet people though! The building was really nice and the common area was tidy and well equipped. Just a walk away from great bars and live music.

The hostel was clean, tidy and well managed...the staff were excellent and were ready to entertain at the drop of a hat. The location is only 2 minutes walk from Broadway and yet its very quiet. Excellent!

You should stay here!

I was genuinely sad to to leave this place! From the time you walk in the common room has such a warm, welcoming vibe that is backed up by the attitude of the staff. All the boys are a wealth of knowledge for everything Nashville and are eager to recommend some new bars or places to eat. I had just as much fun hanging out and late night jams at the Hostel as I did on Broadway. Thanks boys!!

You guys were awesome. Definitely one of the highlights of our road trip.
