Best place to stay in National park Village, the National Park Hotel backpackers offers you a very relaxed atmosphere. We have a large bar area were you can enjoy a cold beer and music or have a game of pool, we do cater to a younger to middle aged crowd, but all are welcome. Guests get 10% discount on food and beverage.
Daily transport to tongariro crossing, Wakapapa skifeilds, Wanganui river,kayaking, mountian biking, tramping, and other activities.
If you are coming to national park, allow a few days to see all it has to offer.

We went in May which I know is the off season. But when we arrived it was like the movie Hostle (scary). We could have stayed for free and no one would have known. We heard noises coming from a closed and decided to knock. It wasnt the manager but one of the employees. He said that he couldn\'t really do anything but show us around but the managers will be back by 11pm and we can ask questions then (it was 5pm). The room was freezing. We had to leave and find a new hostle. Dont go here
