I've booked a female dorm here. It comes with an AC which was awesome considering the amount of heat that time in pondicherry. Staff was great and helpful. Natesa is very2 friendly and helpful. Ask him whatever, and he'll try his best to help u in every possible way. At night, we could chill at the roof top with all other border of the ashram which is super cool and awesome. And u can borrow their cycle for free. Location is superb, near to all attraction.

This was a great place to stay for someone on a budget. The people were really friendly and the atmosphere is very inclusive and warm. It's not so much a hostel as a place for community and sustainable living. The place was excellent and great for backpackers or people who want to stay for extended periods of time. Also the neighbor was so wonderful, everyone smiles as you and all the kids are fascinated by foreigners which make for a fun cricket game :)

It's just around 2 km from the Promenade and the French Quarters. The location is in a residential are a a little interior from the main road. So be careful while returning in the evenings. The staff and management people are very helpful and non-interfering. It's pretty clean and safe. Do not expect room service or other luxuries. It's furnished in a simple style and is definite a value for mo If you want to travel cheap and want to meet other travellers, this is the place for you.

Misleading description. Kitchen not accessible - sign outside stating staff only except to fill water bottles. Omelette overpriced. No cable TV in common room, only analogue. No fresh linen, towels or toiletries in 5 days. Wifi poor. No 24hr security. No cafe or tea/coffee making facilities. Pressure to eat hostel food - dirty tables. Killed 25-30 mosquitoes on 1st night. No mosquito net on bed or window. Bathroom window see into next bathroom. Owner turned off water without warning.

Very nice host. Do not expect anything fancy, but it is for sure the best place you can find for this price!

Very good place to stay. Location is bit tough to find. However once you reach the place, the warmth of the staff just takes you over. They help you in all possible ways. No wonder it is such a hit. Do not expect anything fancy, but that is the aim of the Ashram, to get you as close to the nature as possible. So no TVs in the room, bare minimum furniture, no hot water (not that you would need hot water in Pondicherry!). The food is simple and delicious. They also provide bicycles on rent.

Simple, unassuming and warm are the words that come to mind. Helpful hostel staff at the reception, delicious food for breakfast, clean rooms, great mix of travelers, overall, a truly pleasant surprise.

We stayed in this place from 1st to 6th of january and really enjoyed it. Staff is so friendly and willing to help or just t have interesting conversation among the guests. The whole atmosphere is so great because somehow Natura Ashram attracts interesting and open-minded people. Location is also something we liked so much, just 15 min walk to the Pondicherry centre. Highly recommended.

The guys couldn't be more helpful and friendly. The only downside of this asram is the noise due to the style of building. If you can get past the noise we highly recommend you stay here.

Only stayed here for a couple nights but found it very pleasant and incredibly interesting. There was always a lot happening and plenty of interesting people to meet and talk with. The location is also in a good spot and the rooms were simple but clean and incredibly affordable. Highly recommended if you're looking for a less expensive spot to stay!
