The rooms are definitely smaller and poorly maintained than the photos. One of the beds were also on a metal frame with awfully thin mattress. The bathrooms were relatively clean and the staff are really friendly. You get what you pay for, its acceptable for a short weekend trip on a budget.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Neill-Wycik. Rooms are clean, though the bathrooms could afford an extra cleaning. But nothing to keep mo from going back. Location is great, close to attractions.

The hostel is dorm rooms hired over the summer from a university. The rooms are big, the shared bathrooms are clean and there is a self contained living area (i didnt use it but it looked fine). The breakfast was simple but good with plenty of variety. The laundry facilities were handy. It easy to get to and the location is close to the main shopping road. You can pretty easily walk most places in downtownToronto from here.
