We stayed here on a Thursday night based on good reviews from other people. We paid €20 each for a (single) private room with a double bed and shared bathroom which I thought was unreasonable as there was no additional cost for the hostel. The room was very musty and the sheets were dirty and covered in several different people's hair. We had the sheets changed, which management was nice about, however the new sheets weren't much cleaner. Wifi was only available in the lobby and not the room.

Great hostel on an excellent location. I would come back definitely and would recommend.

This is a pretty good hostel with a great location. The staff was nice and friendly and will help you find stuff to do in the park. It's right in the middle of Killarney town so no worries getting to the night life. There's a tesco right across. I didn't use the kitchen but it's huge. A LOT of groups here not great for the solo traveler looking for buddies. Wear earplugs if you want to sleep. Don't walk to the park unless you have an hour, but there are shuttles. Tiny rooms, but they are clean!

Stayed the first night in the older building, which smelled musty and had shared bathrooms and limited access to outlets in the room-but the staff was awesome about letting me charge our stuff elsewhere AND when I said we were gonna try a different hostel for the next two nights, they put us up in the new building-WHICH WAS AMAZING! En suite shower and outlets for everyone. Breakfast is coffee, cereal, toast and jam-pretty standard. There was a luggage room but I didn't feel the need to use it.

This hostel was decent. The rooms were nice and the bathrooms were clean the living spaces were decent. My biggest problem is that they say free wifi, yet you can't get wifi unless you are on the ground floor. Our room was in a separate building so there was zero wifi in that building and we had to go next door and sit at a table or on a couch to use wifi. I am not saying we have to consistently be on wifi but that is how we get ahold of people when we travel abroad and book hostels and what not

Dirty shower and toilets; female stuff was not that friendly. Room was small but okay. The beds are very short and old. But they have also newer rooms.

staff friendly and welcoming. Very clean as staff continually cleaning, one in particular never stopped cleaning, helping etc. Showers so slow but guess this is for eco reasons!!! enjoyed stay

The location is perfect. 8-10min from the train station and a lot of bars, cafes nearby. There's also a big supermarket (Tesco) right across the street. Staff were very helpful. Booked me on a tour to Dingle Peninsula which is handy and costs a bit than the other tours. The room was clean. I stayed on a 4 bed dorm with a bathroom inside. Kitchen is full of amenities though not all gas stoves are working. The knifes needs replacement too and as well the can opener. :-)

Very friendly staff and great location. Good sized kitchen to cook in and a supermarket across the street. Would stay again for sure.

For Killarney being a small town, this is the best location to get access to everything. The staff I encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the average toast and cereal. The rooms are nice and clean. I would definitely stay here again! It's cute and convenient (:

We stayed for two nights in May 2015. Booked a double room and was upgraded to a room with its own bathroom. Nicest place we have stayed- better than most hotels. The room was in the new part of the hostel- really clean, modern and warm. If you can ask to stay in the new part. The kitchen was OK, not heaps of bench space or cookers so try to avoid cooking at peak time. Breakfast was good. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks Neptunes.

Good night in Neptunes hostel but the heater was on (and we couldn't turn it off) while windows were opens because it was far too warm...so too bad for our planet!!
