We arrived in our room, and it was moist and smelled bad. The window had a lock on it so it couldn't open more than a few centimeters. The bathrooms are shared with everyone and they were really dirty and messy. Also, everything that happened in the building, you could hear. A moving chair downstairs was hearable in our dorm on the 3rd floor. I've stayed in a lot of hostels but this one was absolutely the worst one. We booked for three nights, but we cancelled the 2nd and the 3rd night.

No wifi in bedrooms

Good things: kind staff, comfortable beds and great location in the centre and close to the National Park. Bad things: TOO few bathrooms and showers! And because the toilets and showers were just next to eachother in the same room the water from the showers got all over the floor and made it wet and slippery. The kitchen was was too small for the amount of guest that were staying at the hostel /- when I was there a huge school class was staying there and took up all of the space - stressfull!...

Our room, in the new section of the hostel, was absolutely excellent, in particular the quality of the mattresses!

Decent stay here, great location and friendly staff, lots of common space, but the bed was a bit uncomfortable, no security lockers in the room, and hot water is hit or miss for the showers. Still great value for the rate!

The room was small but okay.

Compared to some of the other hostels I stayed in during my trip to ireland, I thought the staff was super nice and helpful, and the rooms were pretty clean as well. The location was great too, being kind of tucked out of the way of the business of the town, but still right where everything was just a short walk away, even the national park!

Overall the hostel was good for the cost. The showers could have used an update as the water pressure was terrible. The staff was friendly and helpful with any questions we had. It would also be nice to have a few more plugs in the rooms and lockers to lock up valuables.

Not enough outlets in the room and neither was wifi available.

Would be a totally average hostel except for one important thing. You can actually sleep here. The rooms and facilities are a little dingy but they are for the most part far away from the noicy areas and the walls are thick enough you can't hear your neighbors. If you need to catch up on your sleep come here (and maybe see if you can get the top floor). Also, wifi is only in the main lounge and kitchen. The workers give helpful travel advice and there are tours you can sign up for at the front

Some juice with the breakfast would be a good addition.

Very helpful, friendly staff: Juliet in particular

The main problem was wifi didn't reach our room and the wifi in the common area was not great. The location is in the heart of the town and they directed me to free parking close by.

Overall, a great hostel. Fantastic employees, comfortable dorms, and nice breakfast. The shower in my room, however, didn't have a full partition, so water slipped out onto the bathroom floor. There were also no lockers in my dorm, although the office could have stored my valuables. Finally, the Internet connections were very temperamental, even in the main building. Nonetheless, the atmosphere of the place made up for it all, and I found the staff to be informative and helpful.
