We had booked a double with private bathroom, and were given a room with a sink & shower only, no toilet. In addition there was no window, only a skylight. The room had a very musty smell. This was in the annex room # 1. After 2 nights we asked to be moved, which they did with no problems, the new room had a full ensuite, incl toilet, and a window! The staff were terrific, very helpful and accomodating with any questions that we had

On arrival in the evening I found my bed had not been changed from the previous occupant and the room had not been cleaned. The showers were not working on the 2nd floor so had to use the ones on the 1st floor, where one of the toilets were blocked for most of my stay. The staff on duty were lovely and sorted out the dorm problems but the shower was not even looked at, just not in use. The sitting and living spaces were clean and fine, just a shame about the bathroom facilities.

Location perfect for the national park/rest of town. Staff very knowledgeable/helpful. Had a double private room (not en-suite). Shower was ok, didn't drain properly, but was hot. Breakfast normal toast/cereal, but the room was set up in a weird way so that you are constantly bumping into people to get where you need to be. Nice bed (the foam type). Quiet for sleeping.

This hostel is well-located in Killarney city center. Double rooms are located in a building next to the hostel but they are really quiet and clean. The breakfast is also appreciated

We just stayed 1 night and I wasn't feeling very well. The hostel and Killarney were definitely worth while and we'll be staying a few more days next time!

This is definitely the best hostel I´ve ever been. Especially the staff is outstanding: friendly, a help in every situation. Also the rooms are very clean and the location is perfect, supermarket on the other side of the street, pub right next to the hostel. As one of the staff members said: It´s an amazing hostel!
