this hostel was very clean. We had a problem with the shower (no hot water in the evenings) and the lady at the reception was available to help us. this hostel is just beside one of the main street in killarney, so it's very convenient for going out. the only little problems were the not so warm showers and the breakfast. But for the price we paid, it's fine !

We recieved a very warm welcome upon arrival, and the people at the front desk were always very friendly and helpful. The kitchen was great, there was a lot of free food for the taking. It was in an excellent location, right in the thick of things but down a quieter alley so it wasn't super noisy at night. The room smelled a little musty but seemed clean. It was our first hostel experience, and it was decent.

Amazing staff!!!! I loved the people working there. Internet could be more accessible in the rooms instead of just in the front lounge but great place to stay otherwise.

Neptunes was amazing! The staff was incredibly friendly and gave recommendations for hikes in the area / maps/ and tons of extra advice and help (called different cab company for us to see if they could get a cheaper price, etc.). Nice kitchen, great included breakfast, and rooms /bathrooms very clean and nice. Definitely stay here in Killarney!

Not all the hobs worked. The luggage room took a mammoth effort to unlock! However it's located in a quiet peaceful lane very near Lake Leane the magnificent forests around Killarney. It's a nice hostel altogether.

This was a great hostel. Super close to Killarney National Park, breakfast included and the wifi worked just fine. The staff were helpful and the place was clean enough. Would definitely stay here again!

It was a positive surprise to arrive to Neptunes hostel! We had booked a four bed room, but got two 2-bed rooms. But in our case that wasn't a problem at all. The room was nice and clean. Not too comfortable beds, but ok. The water in the shower was burning hot and we weren't able to turn it down. But otherwise it was great! The staff was really nice. Another nice surprise was that breakfast was included!

Not bad, friendly staff and a nice enough room (we were in a private). Jerks next door were slamming doors until the wee hours of the morning.

A good place to be in Killarney. Best thing is the service. I only find it a little bit cold in this time of the year. It would be really nice to have warmer rooms at night because I couldn't sleep due to shivering or cold feet. But you always got plenty of room there and it's always pure life in there ;)

This is a very neat, tidy and well laid out hostel, in a great location. It is close to the Killarney city centre and easy access to the national park. There are large common areas, making it very conducive to meet other travellers. The rooms are modern and spacious. The wifi was almost non exsistant and the free computer wasn't connected to the internet for my entire 5 day stay. Otherwise a very good hostel.

You shut the living room at night which forced me to watch something on my laptop in the lobby. I was then told to listen to it on earphones, this wouldn't have been an issue if you would just leave the living room open. It's a shame too because I found your living room to be very cosy and relaxing, my favourite part of the hostel by far.
