Really friendly staff, great location. Ideal for a group of friends looking for basic accommodation in the centre of Killarney.

We stayed here for 2 nights around new years 2013. We had such a great stay..the staff were so so friendly. Rooms were really clean. Hostel is right on the main street across from the pubs so was great for us! There was a lot of young people in the hostel for new years too so we got to meet loads. We were asked to move rooms for the second night, due to work being done. However we were upgraded to an ensuite room. We will definately be returning soon..excellent value for money :)

As big as a hotel but the atmosphere was still up there. Easy enough to meet people as there are plenty around. Young and older... had a great night and day out with them. Kitchen is big with everything you could need and Staff, especially, were extremely friendly and were always willing to lend a hand.

Neptunes is great- good location, helpful staff, and a great price. To improve, they could have lockers in the rooms for storing personal items.

Best hostel I've ever been to. The bicycle and walking tours provided were very handy, the staff was so friendly! And they gave a lot of information and tips that was useful, including maps of the town and surroundings. I would definately recommend this hostel. There is a kitchen and tv room available, which are clean and cosy.

Good location - just off the main drag of Killarney - FABULOUS staff (really friendly!) and clean rooms and bathrooms. Brekkie is everything you need - toast and cereal.

We had a great stay. They weren't too busy so the staff member who checked us in kindly upgraded us from a private with a shared bathroom to a private with an ensuite. Awesome kitchen, dining and lounge facilities. Only complaint would be the double bed mattress which was very very out of shape and uncomfortable - ok for 1 person but not 2!

For €10 per night, this hostel is perfect : very clean, in a good location, staff is very nice,... And if you want to book for the Ring of Kerry, the hostel books for you and it's only €17.50 instead of €25 !

Very good location in the center of the city. A lot of pubs, shops, cheap restaurants. The stuff was very kind and helpful. Open kitchen so you are able to prepare some supper after all day. The breakfast was also good. Definitely good choice to stay. In the room a bit cold in the night.

They had a few big groups of people the same weekend I stayed. The staff allowed all 20 people from one group to be in the kitchen at the same time. It was impossible to cook dinner for myself on either night I stayed.

This hostel was really great. We stayed there as a base for a climb of Carrauntoohil and the staff couldn't have been friendlier - even down to ringing us that evening to ensure that we had made it back down safely without being asked to.

The hostel and the en-suite double room is quite clean overall, however, the sink hasn't seen the bleach in a while and depending on the time of the day you have a shower, you may not have hot water left. Bed frame is smaller than the double mattress so not comfy at all! Staff are very helpful and friendly and breakfast : toast+cereal+americano coffee. The hostel has posters with recommendations how to save water but the taps in the kitchen don't close properly wasting water all the time...

Very nice hostel, close to the bus station and to the Killarney National Park.

Staff was amazing! Very helpful with any questions I had about the city, the bike routes around Muckross, and were willing to hold my luggage even after checking out. Room was nice and clean. Location wasn't bad, only a 15 minute walk to coach station.

Staff is really prepared to help u! They'll do the best to make your trip plans good! They even said to me (after my check out) that after the hiking they can dry my clothes for free.
