+ves Hot water, good showers Location -ves Breakfast only from 9-1030. This is not on the website. I was in IST for work and work started at 9am! Hence I missed the breakfast, I would not have booked had I known about this time limit Dirty, dirty, dirty Bedsheets hadn't seen a washing machine in weeks!

Good option in an interesting district. Very good breakfast which, unfortunately, does not start until mid morning! Quite basic but reasonable value for money

Neverland Hostel is perfect for travelers of any age, and the wonderfully colourful rooms and communal space are perfectly comfortable. However, if you're sensitive to noise then be careful to ask for a room that doesn't give onto the main street, as it's VERY loud all day and most of the night, emanating not only from traffic but from travelers who hang out outside the front door to smoke and chat. The breakfast that comes with the price of the room is excellent.

A very cool hostel in a perfect located area to go out during day and night-time. Very simple (but since we were going to a hostel we didn't expect more) but clean. Friendly staff, German and English is spoken. Nice student and backpackers atmosphere. Good breakfast. We would definetely come back when back in Istanbul! :-)

Our stay was fine, the decor is very different and the staff were not that helpful as to where to eat or what to do in Istanbul so make sure you are prepared beforehand, but it is a bed to sleep on, even if you can hear the mosque and the walls are paper thin

The staff is great and super helpful. The bathrooms are ok, but the one in room 2 (at the front with the double bed) doesn't drain properly and the shower head kept falling and hitting me in the head. Overall, loved the breakfast and the atmosphere, very friendly.

The staff is really friendly and helpful but the hostel was pretty dirty and it definitely need some renovations. Impossible to sleep in the rooms facing the main street.

No A/C or fans in that hot weather! Are you kidding!? Other than that.. This place is pretty cool. It's at the bottom of a steep hill so beware if you have a big suitcase. Great location, near a tram station and a shopping/food street. Oh and awesome breakfast! Would stay here again.

We stayed for five days at the beginning of August, admittedly at the height of summer, however we have never been quite so uncomfortable. There was no escape from the heat, there was no air-con whatsoever and the one fan they had in the communal area was so inadequate they may as well have not had it at all. I'm sorry but in a hot country in the summer a hostel should offer air-con as standard. Having said that, they provided a lovely breakfast and the hostel did have character. It was fine.

The hostel is beautiful and just 3 tram stations to the city center. It can be noisy sometimes because its on a main street. It's clean, toilet and shower is spacious and doesn't smell bad. Unfortunately I had a bad experience as the first morning that I woke up, I had pimples all over my body, an allergy maybe from an insect bite(other people living in the hostel had it too but not so bad). When I told the hostel staff they were very helpful and they immediately cleaned and disinfected the room.

This hostel is a really interesting place. The room, bathroom and toilets are very clean. The location is good, but they have a very slow internet connection and a very old computer for guests and that was very annoying. We had a weird situation with breakfast. Since we came before check in time, they offered us breakfast while we wait. When we were checking out, they charged us 10 lira for that breakfast-which wasn't much, but it would've been nice if they told us from the start we had to pay.

This place was supper hot. Our rooms were smoking hot and there is not even a floor fan or anything in the main common room/breakfast room or any rooms. maybe think about getting some... One staff member wasn't that friendly, but others were fine. Location was good. It was clean. It was an ok hostel, just need to put some money in to make it comfortable to relax in, aka some cooling agents as we didnt want to sit in hotel as was hotter inside then out.

- Very good location. Near Tophane tram stop from where you can easily reach the old city in barely 10 minutes. Just a 5 minute walk to Istiklal Street, great for shopping and cinema. Ten minutes further and you're on Taksim Square. - Nice helpful staff, nice atmosphere, clean enough. - Big kitchen, nice breakfast (included) with all kinds of fruits and you can get tea and coffee for free all day. - Two little negatives: street noise if your room is next to the street. Low hot water pressure.

Great hostel for its price, close to everything worth seeing in Istanbul and in a really interesting neighbourhood. Could not recommend highly enough.
