We made reservation but we couldn't stay at this hostel because they didn't deal with properly. This room has no key, no door and too noisy.

A home! Just get a new hairdryer please!

We spend in New Backpackers hostel five days. Everything was ok. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Conditions in room was good. Breakfast was good.

The hostel is in excellent location, however for 7 euros per night in the 10 bed dorm, you get what you pay for. Average accommodation, but good for the price and location.

I like this hostel, it is one of the best i have ever been, really! Quite clean, quiet, good for sleeping, breakfast included, reasonable price. A little note, they are dont give towel and a little cold at the end of oktober, but you can have blanket. Very good staffs. So, I will stay there again if I will be in Istambul.

This is a cute little hostel located in Sultanahmet so right next to so many tourist attractions. The staff are very friendly and always making jokes! There is a nice lounge area to chill out in and also a restaurant attached that serves Turkish food. For the price, this place is great.

New Backpackers is a super hostel in Istambul! The hostel's atmosphere was very friendly. The staff are very helpful and always make us happy, particularly Gino. He is the heart of the Hostel. The Breakfast and other foods in the restaurant were delicious. And a lot of sightseeing are near the hostel. It is the best choise if you spend your holiday in Istambul.

Stay well away from this Hostel!! bunks are not put together correctly making them dangerous, smoke filled the hostel from other guests and bar, lots of noise from bar upstairs until early morning, no knowledge of my booking and more.

My girlfriend and I (stayed here for 3 nights (we are on a long trip and on a budget) and it was perfect. Ideal location near the main sites, the street was full of character (pubs and restaurants) and the staff were brilliant - super friendly and accommodating. Great place to mix with other travelers (comfy couches in the lounge/bar downstairs as well). We had a great 3 days stay and highly recommend, especially for those on a budget wanting a good location and don't mind a bit of pub noise.

Wow! This hostel was just aweful!! The owners were not helpful, rude and crass. Also the bathroom was ın a state all the tıme. No clean sheets. No securıty. Breakfast was ok, but even then the staff trıed to get us to pay for tea that was ıncluded ın the breakfast! All ın all I would never stay here agaın and would recommend goıng to the Taxım area of Istanbul to anyone who wants to avoıd beıng rıpped off and hassled to no end. where to begin.from the minute we arrived, we felt like we were at home. The staff are all so friendly and accomodating, and helped us with everything we would want to know from tours to gallipoli and good recommendatıons where to eat..The breakfast was big and tasty and FREE which was a big plus. The dorms which were cleaned every morning as well as the bathrooms on each floor were very clean also. This made it a nice environment for us to live in. Very well managed hostel, WE WILL RECCOMEND IT

Best hostel ever! The guys here are amazing,Esspecially dr Gino :) so much fun. 5 mins walk to shops and bus station.also blue mosqu Really, really clean hostel. I've had so much fun here, it's like a home away from home! Cannot fault this amazing hostel with wonderful, fun and insightful hosts. Stay here, it's awesome!

The guys are great, they make you really feel at home, the food at the restaurant is very good too, and they arranged me also the transfer from the airport and that too was great!

It is a wonderful hostel and the staff is very good. I would really recommend you to spend your vacation here. It is very close to most of the monuments.

great location for sightseeing, friendly staff

It is situated in a nice place: close to major attractions. The people there are very friendly & helpful. Whenever, we asked them for something it was looked after immediately! Had a pleasant stay!

We had valid confirmation, nevertheless the staff was not able to provide our reserved room. We got a promise three times we can check-in. Finally we got a room in a next hostel for that night. It was not our quality but we had to sleep somewhere. Next day we were able to check-in our room. We got only one towel for 2 persons. The bathroom wasn't clean. The staff was once kind at other times rude. Above all they wanted that we pay at the first day. But we could check-in only at the second day

I hated this hostel. The lights never worked the whole time we were there and since the room was pretty much a basement this meant you couldn't see a damn thing no matter what time of the day it was. The bathroom was constantly flooded with water and half the time the water didn't even work. Worse of all was the staff, the majority of whom were sleezy men who hit on us constantly despite repeated requests to stop. It's in a rather good location but there are many hostels in the area. Stay there.
