100% the best hostel you will stay in, they describe themselves and deserve to call it a hotel-hostel! Lovely and clean, great kitchen/dining area, lovely tv and sitting room with fire that they light when it's colder. The pool snd garden are well kept too. The place is soooo clean, and Boris the manager is the friendliest hostel worker we have met so far on our trip. We stayed here for 7 nights and were reluctant to leave still! Go to Cassis cafe whilst you are in town, yum!

More a lodge than a hostel but very nice and the cleanest place I have seen in Chile. We had an ensuite room with a perfect view of the volcano which was lovely. Also the garden with swimming pool is nice and looked after. I definitely recommend the New Dondegerman Hostel.

we had an amazing time at the hostal. i would go so far as saying it was the best hostal i have stayed in. everthing was so clean and the rooms were beautiful with many bedrooms have a lovely view of the volcano. the people working there we very friendly and extremely helpful and to top it all off, there was a swimming pool which meant we could have a peaceful little swim after a day of activities. if we go to pucon again without a.doubt new donde german is where we will stay.

I have no doubt this is the best hostel I ever stayed at. It is very well located, just one block from the main street. Bedrooms and bathrooms are cleaner then my own. Some rooms have a clear view of the Villa Rica Volcano. The fireplace was lit every night. Would definitely recommend and if I ever come back to Pucon, this is where I’ll stay.

Lovely welcoming staff who were more than happy to give advice and help on nearby outdoor activities etc. Inside the hostel was beautifully done, clean and homely. Lovely atmosphere. Much better than another hostel we stayed at in Pucon which was more expensive than this. Definitely would recommend this hostel to others.
