The worst experience of my life with a hotel. They lost my booking, the lost the booking of the people next to us in line. They lost the booking for three more groups in my party. My friends and I all stayed at that hotel. In all my group of friends has 6 different booking, all done separately and they lost four of them. In addition the only other party I saw trying to get their rooms there had the same problem and I know they didn\'t book through hostels.com. I wouldn\'t trust them EVER!!!!!!!!!!

We arrived at the hostel at 8 pm according to the time on our reservation (made 3 months prior) and our room had been given away. This was a big problem for us because we were leaving at 3am the next morning to go run the Great Wall marathon. After arguing for an hour with the staff and asking to see a manager (who was never available), the staff finally offered that we could stay in a community room. The bathrooms were disgusting, the walls were paper thin. We got 30 min. of sleep total.

The 4 person dorm was an ok place to sleep but nothing more. The bedding had hair on it and the bathroom was shared with the entire floor. The bathroom was just a squatter toilet that sometimes had toilet paper and sometimes didn't. The showers were in the shared bathroom as well and nothing special.

this is more a hotel than a hostel, good location,short walk to forbidden city
