nice and reliable hotel, very clean room and good stuff especially hussein~~ good location, very helpful when u fist come here~~ i wish i will come back again~~ i also enjoy the trip to west bank and east bank and hot air balloon that they arranged for me ~~~ thanks guys~~~

By missing this gem the guide books are negligent or corrupt. I've stayed here before & it just gets better - now with comfy new mattresses. Staff are lovely - genuinely helpful & friendly. Kept super clean by 100% trustworthy & charming maid. Location ideal near train and bus stations but in quiet little street away from hassles. A re-modelled roof garden where you can enjoy the free breakfast or just chill. Everything you could expect & more. Many thanks guys and Poussy too. See you again.

It's a really simple place but the situation is very good and the price is difficult to beat. If you book throught Hostelworld you've got the WI-FI for free. Just be careful when buying a train ticket from Luxor to Cairo. This doesn't have anything to do with the hostel but you should book in advance if you don't want to buy it in the black market (you'll maybe pay the double for a 90EGPT ticket). That doesn't affect the posh sleeping train for tourists (360EGP), there is no black market here.
